Founded in 1935, Standard Plumbing and Heating Co. operates as a sheet metal fabricator. Our company is a full-service mechanical contractor catering to industrial, institutional, and commercial sectors. Our offerings include air conditioning, heating, process piping, plumbing, sheet metal fabrication, design-build, professional engineering, boilers, chillers, HVAC controls, and more. Our expertise encompasses hot water, steam, compressed air, chilled water, and refrigerant systems. Standard Plumbing and Heating Co. is based in Canton, Ohio.

In 1912, Herman C. Grabowsky launched a modest plumbing business. The company grew rapidly, and by 1916, Herman relocated the headquarters to its current site. This diverse campus houses the company headquarters, along with its affiliate, Sheet Metal Crafters, Inc., two warehouses, and the service department.

In 1971, Robert, Herman's son, took on the role of president at Standard Plumbing and Heating, Inc. His commitment to quality led to the creation of Sheet Metal Crafters, Inc. in 1977, dedicated to providing sheet metal installations for all Standard projects.

David, Robert's son, joined the company full-time in 1979. He was named president in 1997, while his father continued to play an active role in the business.

Sheet Metal Crafters, Inc. moved to a new manufacturing facility in 2010.

The year 2012 saw Standard Plumbing and Heating, Inc. commemorate its 100th anniversary.
