Recommended Customer Reviews
We had our boiler heating system replaced by Stambaugh Plumbing and Heating. The replacement went without any issues from start to finish. The crew were very professional. They each knew their job, and did it. They answered our questions and explained our new system. We had the company return today to service our air conditioner, Andrew was not only friendly ,but professional as well. He explained what he did,and what he found.
We would recommend Stambaugh to anyone looking for heating or air conditioning problems.
He arrived on time, temperature was only 34 and the work was outside in a non-heated barn. He explained everything he and was very professional.I was very pleased with his work and he cleaned the site after completion. Thanks you
Meredith
Jay W.Seriously the WORST plumbing experiences ever. This last time they came to my home, left me with water pouring from pipes, and did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to fix it. They refused to give us names of anyone they would recommend. They had the audacity to charge us $85.00 service charge for walking around our home, seeing a major hot water, flooding issue and leaving. Do not waste your time, energy or money on this company.
Diana C.We had two units installed with mini-splits put in 6 rooms. Stambaugh's installers did an excellent job, working through old-house glitches to a satisfactory installation. Highly recommend.
I have used Stambaugh for nearly 15 years on my personal home, when we lived in York and on rental properties we continue to own in York. The team at Stambaugh are knowledgeable, honest and trustworthy.
Even thought I now live in another state, whenever I need HVAC work done on my home, I still call Craig at Stambaugh to make sure the work I am being quoted by my local HVAC guy is legit.
This company gets my highest endorsement!!!!
Perseverance G.In 2011 we had our water heater give up on us. We had water leaking on the floor in our finished basement. It was on a weekend and Standbaughs came and put in a water heater for us. I watched the installer and he already had the the pipes attached to the water heater when his assistant came down with the expansion tank. The installer told him that he didn't need it and the assistant took the expansion tank back to their van. It was only recently that I found out that it is a code violation not to have an expansion tank installed with a water heater. I am glad they came out when they did I just wish they would have done the right thing and installed the expansion tank.
Mario H.Quick response and reasonably priced (labor and parts are bundled together). They were able to come out within a day and quickly found the problem (a bad compressor capacitor) and fixed in under 2 hours. All in all paid just under $200 ($69 visit + $100 capacitor + $18 filter). Gerry (our repairman) was very friendly and knowledgeable. Would recommend!
