Do not use this company. We paid a lot of money last September for our irrigation system to be fixed. When we started it up last week it is still broken. We tried to call and text and this company (Benjamin Bishop, owner) has not returned calls or texts. We feel very ripped off by this man. Now we have to find another company to fix what was not done before.

Ben showed up on time. He took a look at the leak next to the house and quickly assessed that the winter freeze had damaged our system. We agreed on a fair price and he got work. He dug down to the pipe, removed the busted valve and replaced it in a little over and hour. He said he would come back a day later to make sure there were no leaks and collect payment upon approval. He found out during our conversation that I am a Veteran and said ""Your a Veteran? That's a $100 off."" That was after we agreed on price!!! This guy knows his trade and was highly professional. I 100% recommend him.

This is not a review of their work as I was never able to get them that far. Had some sprinkler repair work to do on a rental. First call no problem got them the info and I think they even went out to the property but they never called me back. Made multiple attempts with calls, texts and emails. Finally got a phone call back promising to send me a bid that day. Never came. Gave them several weeks and multiple opportunities to get some work. Too much effort to try to hire these guys, poor communication and not reliable is the impression they left. Gave up hired, someone else.

I've used these guys twice and had great results both times--the first time they replaced a main valve and got everything up and running again (when it hadn't been used for years by the previous owners), and the second time they installed a new control box and raised up some existing sprinklers. The younger guy who came out both times was absolutely top notch: professional and really knows his stuff. Highly recommended.

UPDATE to Previous Review.
Very fast response after I contacted them regarding not receiving my invoice. After contacting me them I received the invoice for services the next day. Thank you.

Service was great and they fixed what was needed quickly. Only issue was they could not take a card for payment at the time service was rendered so had to write a check and was told to put email address on it so I they could email my receipt still have yet to receive my receipt for the service provided.

Ben really helped me out a lot today! He was very friendly and helpful with fixing my problem. He also helped me unclog some sprinkler heads which was above and beyond! I'd highly recommend him to anyone experiencing problems with their sprinkler system!!

This review is NOT about the quality of the work. I called and left detailed messages on 9/12, 9/13 and 9/17. I have had no response from Dr. Sprinkler.
The repair service may be good based on other Yelp reviews, but they assume Dr. Sprinkler answers their phone and/or returns calls. Not so in my case.
Perhaps Dr. Sprinkler has died. Anybody know if he is still alive?

NEW UPDATE: I went onto Dr Sprinkler corporate website and got the Email address for the Reno/Sparks Dr Sprinkler. On 7/19 in 7 minutes I got a response from Lindsey with Ben the tech's direct phone number. I called and left a message for Ben. The saga will continue...

On 9/21 Ben called and we set an appointment for 9/23 at 4 pm. Ben never showed nor did he call. I have given up on Dr Sprinkler. They may be good at sprinkler repair but I will never know since they apparently don't understand the concepts of communication and customer service.

The end of the story...I found Scott Ribeiro Handyman on Thumbtack, He did the work on 9/27 at a great price. Oh by the way Scott returns phone calls and answers his Emails promptly.
