With the summer coming up this year and with my family now living in a home (built in 1946) with only an old-fashioned window AC we decided to have a proper AC installed. This was especially important because my grandmother now lives with us and is especially affected by the heat.

I spoke with their pleasant receptionist, Kathy, and then with Phillip over the phone and he calmly answered all of my questions with courtesy (not pushy like the people in other places I called).

Well, I decided to go with them and was pleasantly surprised. Phillip and his partner (I think his name was Frank) worked quickly and obviously knew what they were doing. At the end they tested out everything and explained to me some things to avoid doing, and other issues related to safety.

May, June, July, August and September have all passed and my new system is still going without any problems that I can see. So I thnk it is safe to say by now that they have done the job right.

I now have their number on my refrigerator, and have already recommended them to my friend whose AC went out in August.

I usually hate to give 1 star reviews but, sadly, they couldnt deserve it more.

Situation: Main AC unit outside stopped running, internal blower unit functioning, but no cold air. Called them out to diagnose ($65 fee). While they were out to the house in a short time and their diagnosis was quick, I did not feel comfortable with their high repair quote.

You see, they indicated the capacitors as being the primary point of failure, along with a couple other recommended maintenance tasks.

Two capacitors..... just two. Their price: $450.00. And that didnt even include whatever insane labor or other parts fees were bound to show up.

Not one to just take the quote at face value, I researched the specific capacitors already inside the unit and OEM replacements I found online. I purchased new, genuine parts recommended by Carrier and exactly in the same voltage, mHz, microfarads, and tolerance specs. Genteq was the brand (high quality OEM manufacturer, associated with GE).

My total cost: about 25 bucks.

Do some research online... call around to other vendors... ask if they will do installs if you provide the parts. Otherwise, its little more than robbery. I can only imagine how many people are royally screwed by outfits like this.

I called to get a quote on coming out to inspect where my air filter was located and how to change it because I purchased a home in which I did not know where the previous installation had it located. We agreed $65 would be the upfront price for this very mundane task as I understand time is money.

Upon entering and inspecting where my filter is, the technician immediately tried to sell me a completely new HVAC!? This was annoying because the purpose of the visit was about a filter. After listening to his soliloquy he also rambled about the financing options I had available to me in CA- again way off subject. I told him no thanks and to please tell me about my filter. He showed me my filter and told me as soon as they found a part he would come by and change the filter at no added cost to the $65, just the part itself.

Subsequent to this visit someone from CWP called me to explain that changing the filter would be an additional $286 (parts and labor)! After asking for itemized pricing, which somehow took 3 different call-backs from a confused person on the other end, he said labor was approx $200 and the part, which included a mark-up was the rest. I informed him also that the technician who initially came out said there would be no further labor charges, and he acted like I was speaking another language. I informed him I was no longer in need of their services because a filter change isn't worth that and because their entire team seemed to be more interested in up-charging me for simple services and offering me things I don't need instead of listening to my actual needs.

Highly disappointed with the basic level of service that I never found, feel like I wasted a lot of time with them on nothing. I did not have five star experience at all.

I highly recommend CWP for your heating and air conditioning! They were on point- great customer service, fast and got the job done! Our heater went out and I decided to call CWP because they were recommended by some friends of ours. I'm glad I did because they knew right away what the issue was and how to fix it. Our family is thankful for their services.

I called C.W.P. to repair our central heating system. Their technician, Philip, arrived promptly and was able to fix the problem. He gave us an education on using the right filters for our unit and did a carbon monoxide test for safety. This is the second time we have used this company, and we are very pleased with their professional & polite service. I highly recommend them.

Very soon after moving to a new place our air conditioner went out. The heat made for some uncomfortable nights. Called C.W.P to make an appointment. Their guy (Franklin Cruz) showed up on time. Franklin was able to identify, and fix, the issue (clogged filter) and took the time to walk me through some of the important details about my A/C unit. Very professional service and I would recommend to anyone having issues with their A/C or heater.

I called at 5:30 pm on a Friday night thinking I would have to go through the weekend without AC in the middle of a heat wave. The guy on the phone was very nice and professional. He scheduled me for service that same evening and I had AC by 9:30 Friday night! Franklin and his partner arrived, diagnosed the problem and replaced the damaged capacitor in minutes. CWP Heating & Air Conditioning Service did an outstanding job.They exceeded our expectations on professionalism,expertise,honesty and workmanship.

Alonso & Lucio went above and beyond to get the job done.They inspected & clean my central air and heating system.Both were courteous and honest.The job was done right and they left a clean space.They even walked us through on all services rendered,future recommendations and explained the operations of the newly installed thermostat.

The best part was that after the maintenance was done,we noticed that our AC was cooling much faster and a lot quieter.We look forward to reduced electric bills this summer.

Don't understand all the great reviews! Came to fix my air conditioner and then told me I needed a new one for $8,000! I called some one else and they fixed it for $177! There is a disconnect. Something is not right!.

Phillip and his technicians assured me that I would be happy with the A/C and Furnace they installed for my home and I was glad I went with their company. The technicians were friendy, knowledgeable, and made sure they heard and attended to my needs. I could feel and see the difference in worksmanship compared to the previous system I had.There have not been any problems with my system ever since. I highly recommend CWP to anybody who wants quality service from an honest company who really values customer satisfaction and take pride in their work. I've never had as much assurance and confidence in an investment as much this one.
