Benjamin is NOT licensed though he has his 15 year old license# on his website and business card. I thought he was as he is on the backflow tester list. Nope, that only means they passed the backflow inspector test.

He is slow, does not show up for appts, tired to charge me way more than the job was to be. No contract. Would never come back and fix the leaking valves. I had to get my neighbor to fix them. He even left his nephew here for 3 hours on a hot May day before he came to pick him up.

I had a great experience with a Benjamin Spilman from ""Spilman Backflow"" in Ramona.
I needed to install a Backflow Preventer and was fortunate to find a great guy who is licensed, insured and certified to do the job.
He is very reasonably priced and very meticulous and pays a great deal for the details.
Works very carefully and it's shows.
Highly recommend. He got great skills in different areas
