We decided to do a little renovation and update of our guest lavette. It had recently been all painted, but the faucets were not in great shape and were over 20 years old, so replacement of the faucet was in order. The problem was that the faucet was installed in a pedestal sink and it was difficult to get into the pedestal to do the job. The plumber was very careful as he did his best to remove the top of the pedestal sink and not totally destroy the wall which had recently been painted! He was so very careful and although my husband had to do some minor repairs to the wall, this plumber did a superb job. Most of the cost was labor as I had purchased the faucet previously.The labor was intensive - it was a bit high. However, I would definitely recommend this business as the professionalism, concern, and workmanship were totally top notch.

He had a small leak in our toilet that had gone unnoticed for about 10 days and water had gotten into the finished bedroom in the basement. I called Spencer's at 8am and they had Chris at my house in just a couple of hours. We needed help with a sewer pipe which kept getting clogged up and also a hot water problem that it seemed we were stuck in the cold for our new tub .Spencers corrected our sewer pipe problem and did a beautiful job. after this they installed a Heat Flo water heater which runs off our oil furnace .We were back in business by lunch and it looks and works so good!!! you cant help but be proud of it .

READ THIS REVIEW!!!!
I hired Spencer's Plumbing to install a heating system in a rental unit. The house is small cottage, roughly 450sf. His quote included using a gas fired on demand hot water heater for heat. When I questioned him about using a hot water heater for heat, he assured me that he has done it many times for houses this small. This approach DID NOT WORK! I have texts between the owner, Mike and I that show he was avoiding fixing the issue and texts from my tenant. I also contacted plumbing supply company's about this issue and they clearly stated that hot water heaters can only reach 140 degrees, very shy of the temperature needed to supply heat to a house.
Mike gave me the run around for months, saying his guys would be there to fix it, the wrong heater got delivered, the new heater was broken, he was tied up on another job, ect ect ect..... I got every excuse from him over the course of the winter. Meanwhile I was covering my tenants gas, electric and hotel bills on nights he couldn't sleep at house (none of which were my expenses) . After many months I ended up hiring and electrician to install electric baseboard in the house and covering my tenants electric bill for the rest of the winter.
I recommend staying away from Spencer's Plumbing.
If anyone wants to follow through with this review I can forward texts from Mike and my tenant along with my original invoice for the job which was over $5,000!!!!

I have never used Spencer's before yet he came very quickly to deal with a leaking faucet. He didn't just fix the problem but installed a shut off valve I didn't have the common sense to ask for! I am very pleased with the service and the price. Any future plumbing work goes through Spencer's.

reasonable for a night call, emergency service. and a great ""customer attitude"" as well
