Yesterday was the third time that I needed to use their service over the last few years. Always comes the same day and gets the job done. The problem I had yesterday I thought was going to be more complicated and involved since I had other opinions on the situation. Not for Speedy. Addressed the problem and fixed the problem in an hour. So very thankful!

Horrible customer service, I ignored the bad reviews and chose them because they were local.. the tech who admittedly wasn't professionally trained left a leak after clearing my drain..the owner nor management would return any of the 10 or more messages I left, only to have the receptionist say, and I quote ""I was told if you were to call again to tell you they can't do anything for you"".. didn't even have the professional decency to make up a reason as to why they refused to!

I've been using Speedy since 2011 and have never had one issue. Due to having an older home, I need to call often, as I'm dealing with my husband who has dementia. I just called a couple of weeks ago and Don Sciler came out. I can't say enough about his professionalism and ability to deal with a particularly challenging issue. It may have taken a bit longer than usual this time due to the complex issue, but at the end, everything was moving as it should. Whenever I call, they always respond the same day. COVID-19 has made everything more difficult and there's added stress everywhere we go. Don was patient (given my husband's behavior) and he refused to leave the issue unresolved. Didn't do everything they said and was paid to do. Was supposed to replace any old pipes that was visible and replace the water heaters, only thing that was done was the replacement of the heaters. So basically I paid $4000 for two water heaters.

Not so speedy. Sure, anyone can clear out a drain. But I called these people to do a dig to locate the source of a small sinkhole in our backyard. They prepared a written estimate: $200 an hour. That's it. No upper end, no cap, no nothing. Basically asked me to write them a blank check. I called with a few questions. Left several messages, not one of which was returned.

I then called a competitor, E & K. They prepared a written estimate, with a fixed amount, and they got the job done. Very professional. And they even cleared out our drain at no extra charge.

No on Speedy; yes on E & K.

Called and let them know that I thought my main was clogged becuase the sump pump, and washer caused the sink to gurgle, and recently the shower drain had become slow. They sent someone out to look at the issue. The plumber snaked the main and said there was blockage about 80 feet out, charged me $133 and was on his way. This morning I took a shower and the drain was still as slow as before. Called Speedy Sewer and Drain back to let them know the problem was not solved and they said they could send someone out but it would be a new charge. I asked why because I mentioned the shower running slow to the person I talked to on the phone for the original call and to the plumber when he arrived, I was told because it is a different line. I would not recommend this company unless you have extra cash laying around that you need to get rid of.

I often get tree roots in my sewer lines and I have used Speedy Sewer several times. The last times the tree roots were out of control and they had to come back out 3 times total. They only ended up charging us for the first visit.
We are usually able to get same or next day visits. Only negative I'd that they are usually 45 min late for pm appts, however they do warn you that there may be a wait bc they only have 2 trucks at night.
