I didn't even use their services and got screwed! My neighbor had an underground pipe bust. Causing sewage water to cover her basement and leak to mine. She called Speedy Rooters & son. They came over.. said it was the underground pipe and ended up ""Fixing it"". They even had an inspector check the ground pipe work. 5 months later... I get flooding on my side AGAIN. ( Basement- My DAUGHTERS room!!) The neighbors renter called another plumber over to look at it. The plumber took pics and even called Speedy rooter & son. A pipe that was supposed to be put a certain way wasn't. CAUSING the pipe to bust out of where it was being held and caused the flooding. So my neighbor filed for the damage repair to my property through her insurance. As so did I. Both claims were denied because there is evidence through photo's The other plumber and the fact that as soon as the other plumber called him... the next day Speedy rooter and son was right over there to ""Fix it "". If it wasn't there fault then why rush back to fix the problem and not charge? Because they admitted it was from the companies shotty workmanship. So our insurance denied our claims and told me to call Speedy and son and have them file a ""Commercial Liability claim"", since they are a LLC company. I have been calling them since I found out about the insurance claims. The woman first said "" She's not in. Give me your name and number and I will pass it to her."" Then it became a ""him and that he is rarely in the office. and is mostly in the field""... That is what I was told after being jerked around for days and offering to come in and talk to the ""Guy"" who does the claims. I call everyday. The guy was suppose to be in the office today.. Monday 3/20/23. But called twice already. First it went straight to a voicemail. Then, it rang and rang and rang... then went to a voicemail. I did report them to the BBB. Not sure what else to do. They will not even give the address to me!!! Or have it on their Receipts!!! There receipts have a PO Box to send payments to!!! What?!?!?! So I hope this one on here is the right one! This place is a scam from what I'm seeing. And I'm not even a Customer!!!!!! My advice.... STAY AWAY like so many others have written.

STAY AWAY!!! Truly and unbelievably wild experience. One star doesn't do it justice. Never in my life have I encountered a business of a professional trade that seems to have no sense of accountability. They were more than willing to take my initial call and schedule my appointment. I honestly wish I was making this up, but here's how it went, and mind you, this is for a water heater that burst and dumped 40 gallons of water in my basement....an emergency situation where I am just looking for help and a little honest. Friday - called, no answer, left message, didn't call me back. Monday - called, was given an appointment for Tuesday between 11am-1pm. Tuesday, no one shows, I wait until 130pm, called 3-4 times before someone answers at about 3pm. Woman on the phone says plumber is running late, but will still be there today....no one ever arrives. Wednesday - tried calling at 9am to confirm I am still on the schedule, assuming that's this morning, and left a message. CALLED EVERY HOUR FROM 9AM-4PM WITH NO ANSWER. This is where is gets incredible. After my last call around 4pm from my cell that i've been calling from all day, I'll immediate try calling from my office phone. Someone calls me right back, but as soon as I pick up and say hello, she hangs right up. There's no way they recognized my voice and are actively avoiding me right?! So I wait 3 minutes and call again from a third phone number, one I had never called them from before AND THEY IMMEDIATELY PICK UP!!! Woman tells me on the phone that they got really busy and I'll have to find someone else. WTF?!?!?!? Just....wild....I don't even know. It would have been totally fine if they just acted with some integrity and communicated honestly. A complete embarrassment to the small business community if we're being honest. Stay so far away from them.

Called speedy rooter after strange flood at end of August caused plumbing problems biggest mistake I could have made. When I got home found mud, leaves and who knows what else all through my home on my walls, floors, washer,dryer, tub, everywhere. Plus 2 long gashes in my flooring and they caulked all manner of crap in around my toilet. Called them about it and was asked what would I like her to do about it.....really!!! They need to make this right. Now I am calling my lawyer to bring suit against them, tried to resolve this with them but after several attempts and no response from them at all they leave me no choice. Run the other way from them and call someone else!!

My elderly mother called Speedy Rooter when her toilet backed up, ran over and water started dripping through the floor to the doorway below. It was an emergency, and she didn't know how to check reviews online. Jay came out, removed two toilets (why two, since only one ran over?), partially snaked the toilet upstairs, put everything back, pronouced the job done, took her check and left. Four days later, the toilet backed up and ran over again. Jay came back, said he fixed the problem, took ANOTHER check and left. The toilet wasn't used for a couple weeks, but when it was... IT BACKED UP AND RAN OVER AGAIN!

This time, Roto Rooter was called. They determined that the toilet hadm't been snaked completely, and that both toilets were replaced incorrectly, exacerbating the first problem and creating a new one as the downstairs toilet was now leaking into the basement!

I tried to call 3-4 times and give Speedy Rooter an opportunity to respond and do the right thing. They didn't return my calls. Hence, I'm going public. Not only is their work shoddy, they don't have the decency to respond to a customer's call. Whatever you do, AVOID USING SPEEDY ROOTER in the South Central PA area.

Used this company a few times. In the the beginning I would recommend this company. Since one of their best employees passed away sometime ago their company has fallen on the downside. We had them come out about 10 years ago to do a water line for us. Very good work at a decent price. Used them a few more time thereafter for minor clogged drains. No problem. Just used them 1 week ago and it was horrible. The 2 guys that came out the plumber and the helper. The helper was very nice guy who got treated like shit from the plumber. The plumber was a total ass! I thought they unclogged the main line. Nope! 2 days later backed up again. Called the office, the lady had the plumber who was out contact me. Very rude asshole. He saying he's one of the best plumber's out there. Yeah right! He was very vulgar with me on the phone. Told him to stay away. Called another company to come out. Very professional. I told them who I used. He shook his head and said I wasn't the first person to complain about this company. He told me me they used the wrong equipment for the job! I thought this guy said he's one of the best plumbers out there. Using the wrong equipment does make you the best plumber. It makes you a clueless ass! I would not recommend this company. Stay away!!!!

Had service performed on 2/7/15 and it was horrible. The service tech Bill came to the house with his girlfriend in the car and was in a hurry to just leave. He got the rugs filthy. He was very inexperienced and started the job in the wrong place I had to instruct him where to go. They did not unclog enough. He was also very ignorant and did not listen to what our problem was at all. Was complete horrible service and what he did only lasted a week and had to have another company come out to fix it.

Horrible...Had a pipe break to our showers and when they arrived almost 4 hours after they told me we were next the repairman had the nerve to tell my husband ""Dude, you are done! I don't know what to do for you"" Seriously!!! My husband had to guide him the whole way through everything and by the way my husband is not a plumber. Finally after the plumber decided that he not only could not fix our problem he would not fix it by husband asked for him to be a cap on the pipes so we could at least turn the water on to the rest of the house. He said yeah I guess we could do that! He asked where a Lowes was. Okay so he drives this big van but does not have any caps or shut off valves??? This is a plumbing company right??? Needless to say he left to go to Lowes which is 7 min away. He didn't return for an hour and 20 mins. Put these huge shut off valves on. Oh yeah by the way this whole time he has been on the phone arguing and texting to what it sounded like a girlfriend. So now we have shut off valves on the pipes but still no water to the showers because the broken pipe is not fixed but he called his job complete and handed us a bill for $325.00. My husband said he was not paying this because he charged us for 2 hours of labor when he was only here for less than a half and hour. The guy said he would not leave till he got paid. So they got a check! I called the company and the person supposedly took my information and said that someone would call me back but might not be for a couple of days. We all know that I am not getting a phone call back. BUT....I am putting a stop payment on that check so I guess now they will have to call me!!!!

speedy rooter is a qualty company that we have been doing business with for over 10 years. they have helped us with our home plumbing issues and emergencies. I would reccommend them to all of our friends and relatives. I appreciate they fast service and fair pricing. they show up when they are supposed to and get the job done.
call them today and your problems will go away.
