We are proud to be a third-generation plumbing company that began by my granddad. This legacy was handed down to my parent (Maxine) and her brothers. With her warm demeanor and welcoming voice, she oversaw the customer service department and provided outstanding customer service. Her ability to talent for relating to every client. Dad and uncles took care of the fieldwork, offering professional plumbing solutions throughout the LA region.
Greetings to everyone! Many folks refer to me as Lee. I’m blessed with a great family, a beautiful wife, two children, and of course a pair of dogs. I have great pride in upholding the family plumbing tradition. Offering reliable service and professional workmanship has been a part of me for over two decades. I appreciate having the opportunity to blend what I’ve learned from my family with the service training I received from my mom to become a people person. Additionally, I was taught by my dad and relatives to provide expert plumbing work. At present, we manage a fleet of 10 trucks, handle between 25 and 30 calls each day, and work hard to delight every patron.

I called speed plumbing out to take a look at my hot water heater. They came out and replaced my hot water heater at a resonable price. I was very satisfied with the technician. He was very clean and I will definitely call them again.
Patty T.We have been using Speed Plumbing for some time now. They are great in communicating very quickly with our tenants. They are courteous and friendly. Their operators are very friendly and very helpful. Their prices are very competitive. Overall very happy with their service. This is a company I can rely to get the job done right.
I am an apartment owner and own approx. 90 rental units over 11 buildings. I have been using Speed Rooter for over 15 years and am very happy w/ the service. They are fairly priced and more importantly their front office personnel and customer service oriented.
I've used Speed Plumbing for the past 12 years. They are always prompt, courteous and trustworthy. I've used them for simple stoppages, installation of water heaters, as well as major plumbing problems. Their rates were always reasonable and their work very professional and reliable. Greg always provided excellent service and Debra is a gem.
Bad service. Plumber did a lazy job the first time. The drainage work a few days, then it got clogged again. Called the 2nd time, and he said different problem. He wanted to charge me more, but I said NO! He didn't fix the problem the first time and now he wanted more $$ from me. Please do not use this company. They do lazy and speedy job, and gonna charge you more when they come again a few days later. Please read other reviews about their bad service. It's true!!!
Abbigale M.The thing to keep in mind is that they are called speed plumbing, not quality plumbing.
We hired them for a leak in the backyard and an obstructed sewer line, which was rendering the toilets unusable.
The leak was close to the water main shutoff for the property, and since existing pipe was old and corroded, they replaced some of the old piping to fix the leak. But they literally stopped within two feet of the shutoff valve at a 45 degree joint (their plumbing strategy for leaks is to replace plumbing out to the nearest joint). That left us with two feet of corroded 60 year old piping between two newer pieces of plumbing. It didn't look like the splicing between the new pipe and old pipe would last very long, so we later got another plumber to finish the final two feet to the main.
The sewer line was snaked but it was discovered that the obstruction was caused by tree roots and thus had to be excavated and replaced. The section of sewer which had to be replaced was a clean-out plug section which for some reason had not been brought to the surface when the house was originally built. A quality job would have been to replace it and bring that clean out plug up to the surface so that it could be used. They did not present us with the knowledge of the plug or an option to have it brought up, which means at some point we will have to excavate that area again should we need to access the sewer from that location.
Unfortunately, I had leaned these things from a handyman after the work had been done. They do respond quickly, and they did stop the leak and made the toilets flush again. But apparently they like to do the type of work that brings them return business.
Brian L.I called this company to unclog a bathtub drain. They tried to snake the drain and broke through the drain pipe, sending a tub full of water into the condo unit below mine. They guy then left and told the tenant ""there's a leak in the wall you should have fixed"". After numerous calls, I spoke to the guy that did the work and he acknowledged he broke the pipe but said he's not responsible. When I asked why he didn't stay to fix the pipe he said he's not a licensed plumber and that he's ""just the rooter guy"". I'd have to call to schedule a real plumber to fix the damage he caused on a Friday night. The condo association was forced to find another company that night and pay thousands to fix the damage
Fern E.Great experience. Called them at 11:00am to help me remove the gas shut off valve. Were there n less than 10 minutes. Greg quoted me a price, I'm like no problem...Greg came over and said, are you sure you need me? I'm like, Yup. He did the job in less than 5 minutes. I was happy the job was done. Oh I forgot to mention...the gas co was out earlier because of a gas leak...per the tech..I was to replace the old shut off valve. Thanks Greg...I'll definitely call them back to replace my old gas logs in my fireplace. Sometime its best to hire someone professional, especially when you're dealing with natural gas. Thanks again....use them, they are great and professional.
Bob T.I've been using Speed Plumbing for over 12 years (when they were called Speed Rooter). They've been to my house to handle various clogs and even a sewer line issue. Their plumbers have always been friendly, courteous, clean and very competitive on pricing. I can't comment on actual plumbing repairs though, since all my jobs have been to unclog drains and lines.
Denise M.I used Speed Plumbing for a blocked sink after the initial company I called told me they needed to come back with a Video cam ( additional $$!!) only to find out that it only needed snaking from the inside. Reggie from Speed Plumbing was personable, neat, efficient and got the work completed for an amount well under previous 'estimates'!
