Customer service and technician were awesome and friendly. The ONLY company that would come out today to get our water running. the only reason I didn't give them five stars is for their pricing. They kinda have you over a barrel and they know it. I was told $219 service call that would be applied to repairs if needed. They trouble shot our system in less than 10 minutes...the technician,JB, knows his stuff! The part, retail $60 part was billed at $389...whoa! That alone should've been enough compensation...But on a Saturday we couldn't find it anywhere so we paid it....also they didn't apply the $219 so all said and done, was about $650. I disputed the $219 but I was told to call the office. Definitely would use them over and over again ...if not for price. If I had the money to spare.....this would be first choice. Thank you JB!

If you have an emergency expect to get price gouged by Specialty Pump and Well. With a very cold 3 degree outside temperature which froze my well pump. I expressed it was an emergency when running a commercial equestrian center with 60 horses and no water. Horses drink 10+ gallons per day and 24 hours no water would kill them. I was told they couldn't come for at least 24 hours and to expect a minimum $389 and $500 if related to freeze. Of course it was related to Freeze! Why the gouging? The roads were perfectly clear and dry. I called a plumber instead. The unused valve that had a crack was $1 to cap. The emergency call was $150 for his time and efforts. If you have emergency call a plumber or a well company that responds when lives are at stake.

Please do not believe anything these liars tell you. They prey upon your fear of not having water for your family needs and gouge without mercy. In our case, besides being about 50% over- priced, according to other sources who demonstrated much much more integrity, these pickpockets lied, claiming our well was dry, when all we needed was a minor adjustment on their overpriced equipment. And they charged for evil deed as a visit too. I am trying to organize a class action lawsuit against them as I write this.

I think this is a great company, and they did a good job assessing my pump issue. I called places that were closer by, but no one called me back. This company was very responsive and professional, and they were able to come out promptly. I will use them again.

JB came out to inspect an odd clicking noise that was happening when our furnace was on. He did a very thorough inspection and investigation and figured out it was mostly likely the hangers for the duct work expanding with the heat. Fast service and knowledgeable people.

I was had. Hopefully you will let my misfortune save you from your own. Nearly $800 for water samples and stickers on all my stuff, which I was not asked permission for. When I followed up and requested detailed, itemized estimates for future work I was looking for, I was told that they could not accomodate that complicated request. With no part numbers and ambiguous language I was supposed to sign off on a job totaling nearly $30,000. I don't think so. I will be reporting this company to BBB and reviewing them far and wide in the hope that I can prevent others from being taken advantage of. For example, just one of the three water tests that I was charged nearly $200 for retails for $32.50. Not wholesale. Not good guy. Retails. Don't trust this company. They are more than welcome to make this right by contacting me directly.

BEWARE the pricing method that Specialty Pump & Well uses - rather than an hourly rate for work performed they charge a ""Flat Rate"" from a manual based nationally. They charged $329 to replace a well pressure switch and $318.02 for the relief valve which was on top of their Service Fee of $99. Turns out that the parts involved cost approximately $60. The technician did not indicate how long the repair would take. The technician was at our home for less than an hour to diagnose and perform the work. So basically they charged $550 over and above the parts for less than an hour of work. Also the Service Fee should be considered as a ""Trip Charge"" as none of the $99 is applied to the work performed. On top of this, although we had made an appointment, they totally missed it and didn't have anyone scheduled to come out at the appointed time. After seeing how quick the repair took, I got a quote from another well repair outfit and their price would have been $277.00 to cover parts and labor. I called Specialty to dispute their pricing method and the missed appointment - they offered to knock $186 off of the bill of $812.42 with the understanding that we do not dispute their billing any further. Don't be fooled by their BBB rating as it doesn't mean you are going to be fairly charged for work. Get a full detailed disclosure of work to be performed and an estimate of the time to accomplish it before signing their contract.

UPDATE to Specialty's response
As explained to Oscar, although my husband initialed their work order he was not clear about the charges as he came in and told me it was going to cost $300 so I was surprized to see the charge being $746 before tax. When asked for an explanation as to the high charge was given excuses of disposal of parts, quality of technicians and etc - nothing to validate the high charge after taking the cost of the parts into consideration. All they wanted to do is go back that the charges were initialed.

I recommend Specialty Pump and Well to anyone looking for a system that will provide clear, clean water from their private well.

My job wasn't an easy one. My country/farm water system ( a 23 year old pump, pressure tank-virtually everything!) had reached The End and I had no water one day this week. A neighbor recommended that I look for a contractor who ""knew what they were doing"" and I got lucky when I called Specialty Pump and Well in Woodinville.

I was given an appointment the day after I called and the technicians in their fully equipped service truck showed up on time. They did have everything needed to replace the pump, pressure tank, piping and wiring and even added a robust filter system which I can say has made a huge difference right away.

The new pump is controlled by the most current technology to protect the pump and save energy. The new, larger pressure tank and control panel were installed neatly in the garage. All wiring and plumbing was professionally done and even all the old equipment and piping was taken away.

The men who did the work really did know what they were doing! They were also friendly and patient to show me how the new system works- even so that I can change the filters myself, when needed.
I believe that the cost for quality, most current equipment and trained technicians is well worth it in the long run.

I wouldnt recommend these clowns to anyone. First they said they could fix my problem. Next they lost my appointment, and I sat all day waiting for someone to show up, and when I called all they said was oops, sorry. Third the technician, and I use the word loosely, spent 5 minutes diagnosing my problem (ie listening to me tell him what it was again) and finally had to call his boss, and then quoted me a three thousand dollar estimate. I had the whole system installed a year ago for less than 2 thousand!
These people are inept, and their prices are ludicrous. I think they make all their money off the $140 service call minimum, which they can go whistle for.
