Ghosted! Ready to hire, and Neil quit answering. Bummer, because it sounded like a fair deal. But it's good form to at least tell a customer that you can't do the job, don't want the job, too busy , overbooked...

Neil was so nice, efficient and easy to work with. I had to send him back to a building built in 1886 because I did not give him full info on his first visit. Then on his second visit there was a bit of a snafu on my part as well. It was a bit of a wild goose chase for Neil. He was so kind and agreeable. And his pricing is also more than fair.

Originally Neil started fine and seemed like a decent business person when he came to my house to address a problem I have with a sprinkler head constantly leaking, (said I have because I still have the problem even after Neil fixed whathe said was wrong). Neil looked at it and said it might be the diaphragm in the valve, so he replaced it and told me to call him if the problem persisted. The next day I checked and the sprinkler head was still leaking so I called him and left him a message,this is where my first initial impression of him went south and I was very disappointed on how he handled his business and me as a customer. This was the chain of events since he showed up to my house Tue. July 21st.
After leaving a message Wed. July 22nd, I waited until the following day Thur. July 23rd since I didn't' get a response from him so I texted him asking if he had gotten my message, he replied ""yes sorry, I'm working out of towntill Saturday. I thought for sure that would fix the problem"". Since he did not give me any type of follow up I waited until Tuesday July 28th and called him to ask when he would be able to come and look at the sprinkler head again and he told mehe would sometime during the remainder of the week but did not bother to say which day or time. He did not show up as he promised or bother to call me to explain why he did not come. The following week on Tue. August 3rd I texted him to ask himwhen he was planning to come to the house and all he replied was ""I will get there today"". Later that day he texted me saying that he had come by the house with the parts to change but found out the parts were not compatible and that he would have to go lookfor different ones. I asked him when he would get the different parts to replaced them and he responded that he was not sure since he checked two places already that did not have them. At this point I just suggested if it would be best to just get a refundand seek help from someone else and his response was ""yes I have a huge list I'm trying to get to"", with no attempt to apologize nor tell me when he would come by the house to refund me the money. I waited until Wed. Aug. 5th and texted him to ask him whenhe would drop my refund and he responded, ""I have a class all day Friday Aug. 7th, I will plan to drop off after that"". Later that day on Friday I got a text from Neil saying that he had come by the house while I was at work and left the money under the doormat so I was disappointed that he did not have the curtesy to do this in person or even attempted to apologize for not being able to follow through to fix my problem in a timely manner.
I understand things cannot go perfect from time to time and I assumed he was busy with work which he should have told me from the beginning not me assuming and feel he could have dealt with the situation more professionally and should havebeing a bit more attentive to the fact that the work he performed did not fix the problem so as a client I expected a timely and clear follow up to fix what I originally paid him for so feel I did not get that as a customer and feel I was very patient andunderstanding but sadly Neil did not know how to conduct his own business very professionally and despite the fact he was busy he should have communicated that with me and not had me initiating calling him all the time to see what steps to take next. He wasvery short in his responses with no clear answer as to what he was planning to do to fix my problem so that was very disappointing and frustrating. I did not pay much for what he originally did but just the fact at how he seemed to blow me off as a customer made me write this bad review.

Neil has become our go to guy for back flow tests and other plumbing needs on our commercial properties. He is always friendly and works hard to make sure everything is done right. He is quick to respond.

We needed to provide documentation to the city for our sprinkler system. Neil was super helpful and quick. Within 24 hours of my phone call he provided me, and the city, the documentation they required.
