Shout out to Speakes Plumbing Inc. Quincy and Aundra did a great job on a couple problems we were having. Professional job and a fair price.

We have been a client of this company for over ten years.
During a service call I mentioned we were having trouble getting hot water to the kitchen sink; it took a long time to turn hot. The plumber recommended that we order a circulation pump which Speake's would install along with leak sensors.

After nearly $1,000 we have warm water; either hot or cold. When my wife called to ask for assistance we were told the work was not under warranty as we bought the circulation pump from another source - as Speake's requested. Travis also went on a long yarn about how equipment made in China was not really dependable. What a pile!

Great lawn fertilizer - but not good service. We plan to upgrade our water heaters to tankless soon and will be using another plumber. Speake's lost another long - standing customer because there service has gone downhill!

Awesome service! They have responded to short notice Emergency calls immediately, and their prices are much more reasonable than anywhere else in town. Been doing business with them for years and always feel like I get an honest deal. The work is always done well. It's nice to have a plumber you can trust.

Since moving to Garland I have used Speak's. They are always professional and thorough. They discuss needed repairs and verify before making changes/repairs. I had them out today to fix a leak in the front shrub line. Not only did they find it and fix it they ran new pipe and made sure to put the new levers in an order to leave outside water available if the inside water needed to be shut off. They cleaned up all of the mud and made the once lost valve cover accessible again. They also made a small repair to a dripping shower faucet, which was not part of the original call. Quincy and Trevor did a great job. I highly recommend Speak's for any plumbing issues.

I've been a long time customer. Generally their customer service is good. In this particular issue, they did work and charged me for work on a shower that needed a new handle as well as some other items (~$760). We were out of town when the work was completed and came back to the shower head being broken and not working correctly. We called them back out to fix the issue. 4 days later without a working shower, they came back and made the repair - and then gave us a $160+ bill for the issue that was caused by their previous work. Communication was terrible during the process and we're furious to be charged to come fix another issue without an explanation of what happened and why the shower stopped working after the first time.

Our master bath tub was leaking, and my neighbors had recommended Speake's so I gave them a call and set up an appointment. A few hours later I received a call bumping my appointment to the same day. Great! Garlan showed up and made us right as rain. Awesome guy btw! He was very attentive on making sure nothing else got dirty or wet. I suggest asking for him. Great service; will use them again if needed in the future.

Have been long time customer.
Just had tub faucet repaired.
They drastically overcharged for parts.
They separately charged $19 and $16 for identical parts that come as a unit at Home Depot for $9.98 for both (plastic knob and control lever).
They also charged $40 for a $16 escutcheon (the plate that goes under the faucet knob).
When I confronted them on the phone regarding overcharging he became very angry at my accusations and made some lame excuses.
I know that up price parts but this is ridiculous.

I was referred to Speake's plumbing from a sheetrock guy. They showed up on time, replaced 5 bathroom faucets with new valves/water lines and a toilet within 4 hours. They were professional, courteous, and, reasonable, fast. I highly recommend them.

Plumbing is my go to for all plumbing needs. I called this morning with a clogged toilet and they set an appointment for tomorrow. When they realized that I was a returning customer, they added me on standby today, just in case one of their plumbers ended up with some time to come by. I lucked up and got a call that someone was available. From the time the call came, someone coming and fixing the problem, settling the bill and departure...ONE HOUR!
