My wife and I were very impressed with Bill. He arrived on the time we were promised and immediately assessed the problems. There were more than we thought. His knowledge and professionalism were quite evident. He was careful to protect the area from water spilling and cleaned up after the job was completed. His price was very reasonable. We would not hesitate to use this company again. We highly recommend his company. 5 stars.
Great family owned company have used for my kitchen sink issue no fault of anyone for over 20 years. Always prompt and polite and reasonable priced would highly recommend.
Johnny M.We had what turned out to be several issues with our plumbing and a huge flood under our raised foundation. Bill and his son came out early the day after I called and checked everything even after finding the main issue just to make sure there was nothing else. After two quick hours which included going under a raised foundation and cutting drywall to locate and fix the issues, everything they could fix was in working order. We still have to order a new sink since there is a hairline crack in the one we have installed. The cost was less than half of what I thought it was going to be. They were efficient, professional and kept me informed throughout the entire service call. While having a plumber come out to your house is never pleasant they did a fantastic job and I will contacting them again for future plumbing issues.
I just got to say (again) I don't get to excited when I need to call a plumbing service, but with Spartan it is different. This family owned business is the best around no need to worry about being gouged by pricing. They still have the flat rate of $45.00 to clear a line. They came out this morning on the roof and ran the snake from the house to the street twice to clear the line still only $45.00. I could have called ""The smell good plumber"" for the same service at $169.00. I know because I called and checked. Just have to say Spartan is the best. Great Pricing-Friendly Service- Family Owned-Very Knowledgeable on doing things the right way.
Ted G.Incompetent, Rude, Irresponsible.
Just three little words to describe Spartan Rooter. When my wife first talked to them on the phone, she was dismayed about how rude they were talking to her. However, it was an emergency and at the time, this plumber was the only one, locally, that she knew about. When the plumber arrived, trudging filth back-and-forth through our house, he got up on the roof to go through the main toilet vent pipe to clear flooding in our home due to a backed up sewer. In doing so, he removed a screen from the top of my vent pipe I had placed to keep bugs and debris out, throwing it to the side of the roof and not replacing it. Then, he took my TV antenna which was attached to the vent pipe and forcibly twisted it 90° off axis and did not return it to its original position. I didn't realize it until I checked my DVR for some shows I was taping and there was nothing but noise recorded. To top it all off, our house flooded again. Now we have to find a real plumber.
MIchelle H.-5 stars. NEVER AGAIN. My family, my husband's family, our friends and coworkers (that we have recommended Spartan Rooter to), have used Spartan Rooter for years. My great Uncle and Aunt, who are both 90-years-old!, are having their master bathroom remodeled. Today, a broken sewer pipe below their house was discovered. The remodeling company informed me that they do not fix broken sewer pipes but they can recommend a plumbing company that does. I initially declined, automatically wanting to give business to Spartan Rooters, who prior to today, had done the plumbing for everyone I know.
I called and spoke to a Spartan Rooter representative regarding coming out and fixing the broken sewer pipe. The first question was location, Anaheim, which they service. The conversation continued in which I was spoken to in an insulting and condescending manner. He insulted the remodeling company, insulted me, and then declined the work and hung up on me. Let me emphasize that everything out of the representatives mouth other than his first question related to location, was insulting and condescending.
I may be a woman and the Spartan Rooter representative may believe that women are automatically idiots related to anything considered a ""man's"" job, WHICH WE ARE NOT, but he will never receive business from me/my husband, our families, friends, and coworkers again! My husband was amazed that I was spoken to that way. So anyone out there who is looking for a plumber or plumbing company look elsewhere. As I write this review I can see several other reviewers that have mentioned giving 0 stars or in my case negative stars. Others mentioned they are the cheapest but I guess cheapest also equates to insulting and condescending. Personally I would rather pay more for a company that treats it customers with respect, so would my husband.
We just bought an older home, and IMMEDIATELY experienced problems with the plumbing. Our home warranty insurer sent out a plumber who refused to clear the line to the main. He charged us $60 to clear the lateral line, which (of course) just pushed the problem down the line into our kitchen. Spartan charged us the same price, and got the job done right. We got the referral from a contractor friend who has been using Spartan for over a decade. Family-owned business - Bill's parents man the phone lines - love it! If you are lucky enough to reside within Spartan's limited geographic service area, I highly recommend the call.
Danny L.Called them out for clogged drains. The snake went between the inter bowl and the outer-bowl it literally exploded. Scared the crud out of my daughter who was sitting in the living room. I yelled at the guy on the roof what had happen. He comes down and starts YELLING at me said that it's my fault. How in the world this was my fault is beyond me. He then proceeds to tell me he is replacing the toilet with the cheapest one he could find. I had done a remodel and put in brand new fancy toilets. He continued to tell at me. I called the office to report him and well since it was related they didn't give two shakes. He proceeded to buy the cheaters toilet he could find and left. My daughter and I were scared the whole time he was at our house, he was MAD! I advise everyone to USE SPARTAN ROOTER AT YOUR OWN RISK
Lauren B.Wish I could leave 0 stars!! They came out and snaked my drain from a vent on the roof, came within a few hours, only charged $45.
THEN....a week and a half later it is raining and now we have a leak in the same area as the guy was working. Tried to call to ask if they could come look at it, the guy was SOOOO rude, the answer was no, and that it had nothing to do with what they did. My husband ended up going up in the rain to find that the flashing on the vent pipe was bent and that was where it was leaking. Sure, it was probably an accident, but he couldn't care less and didn't care to even consider they did it or do anything to make it right.
I will NEVER use these idiots again!
Ladelle W.Spartan Rooter is the best plumbing business I have found they are honest and reliable.
I called in the morning and they were right there. Bill and Jeffery are both the absolute best, very honest and very fast and efficient. And very Good prices.
It is a family owned business. Give them a call the next time you need a plumber and see for yourself. I would recommend them over any other plumbing business I have used.
