I witnessed a close accident when a Spartan Plumbing truck made a left into oncoming traffic. I called the company, told the operator what I saw and she hung up on me. I called back and spoke to the manager (Gina) who informed me that they knew who it was and that they would take care of it.

I would think twice before hiring Spartan plumbing.

Installed a tankless water heater for us...great service...great techs...extremely knowledgeable and helpful...both my husband and I would recommend for jobs both large or small...they are a bit higher than other bids we received although...we got what we paid for...plus a 10yr warranty!

Lifesavers! I've trusted Spartan with my plumbing for a few years (broken underground waste line, water heater replacement) and they have always dealt straight, charged fair prices, and performed quality work. This week I called them to step in and repair a non-working heat pump that another contractor had butchered the repair on. They responded promptly, honored a quote from two months ago, and had techs on the roof the next morning. They worked through the 2nd hottest day in Tucson history, and stayed with it until the unit was running perfectly. No delays, no hidden costs, no games, and the unit is running perfectly

Incompetent. In April of 2016, Spartan installed a high-end Grohe faucet (I only mention this as proof they were not dealing with a sub-standard equipment) in my kitchen. It worked fine for about a year until the faucet began to loosen significantly. I called Spartan in early May of 2017 in order to tighten the fixture before it became detached. A tech showed up the following day and did manage to tighten the faucet. Unfortunately, he caused additional problems before leaving. I soon noticed the retractable hose no longer worked and the unit was about 30 degrees off center. Despite the fact that their tech clearly was unfamiliar with the brand, they sent the same guy the very next day! Now the hose retracts, but only at certain angles and the unit is even more off center (about 45 degrees to the east). It is so far off center the faucet can only reach about half way across the sink At this stage, I'll just have to call a real plumber. It should also be noted that I was charged a $104 service fee, despite the fact that Spartan had installed the fixture less than 13 months ago. In summary, is you want inept service and wasting your money, Spartan is the place for you.

If I could rate this company a negative number I would!! I purchased a soft water appliance from another source. I called Spartan Plumbing to install. The owner came to my house, looked at my soft water system and associated parts, which I had all of. The owner also saw a defect in the existing plumbing from the hot water heater. We discussed the different options for installation and repair!

The Plumbing owner ""NEVER MENTIONED"" the two words ""FLAT RATE."" The owner said it would be an 8 hour job at $96/hr. Payment for the first half immediate, the remainder after completion. I agreed, but the invoice he wrote up, was never signed by me or dated.

The following day, two plumbers arrived, installed my water softner, and corrected the the defect in piping on the hot water heater. Their total time was ONE HOUR!!!

Remember, I have paid $375 up front for the job. The company now charges me another $375 for completion of work, saying it was a flat fee, which they never discussed. In other words, I got charged $750 for ONE HOUR of work!!

This company should be put out of business! I am going to make a formal complaint, to the BBB, I am going to write reviews, just like this one, to Angie's List, Home Advisor, Homes.com and when I find the appropriate department, the newspapers of Tucson!! These people have no business being in business!!

I am going to be their worst nightmare!

i recently got my house in tucson which need all the bathroon rebild and kitchen plobming new, i got the most magnificent, work from spartan plobmer ,his owner mr mike gesty explain to me he has to change most of the plombing sistem it was very damage.... well my home is brain new thanks to this guys whom did the job fast and inpecable i can't be more grateful to them

They were on time with the appointment, and fixed the problem quickly. The service tech kept me informed during the job. I would definitely use them again.

Wow! Stated it would be 96/ hr minimum 1 hour. Came out did a lousy job on a drain, then said 196/ hr after hours. I called and they said it was stated correctly and the charge was for 2 hours, not the 30 minutes it took.

Spartan plumbing installed a water softener system in our house. Their service has been so bad. They did not install it properly - according to the manufacturers website and when I called to ask about it not one single person could speak knowledgeably about the warranty. The supervisor said he would stop by and take a look, he never showed up. When we complained about how low the installation was to the ground making it difficult to remove the housing to change filters they sent someone out to take pictures. That was two weeks ago. They do not return calls, come out when promised or follow up when they say they will. Personally, I would not recommend this company to anyone.

I wouldn't use this company again. In addition to charging an astronomical amount (they knew it was an insurance job) they promised to reimburse me for a valuable piece of pottery they broke during the course of the job. I couldn't find an exact replacement and so,trying to be nice, chose an inexpensive alternative. Despite repeated assurances that they would send me a check, five months have now passed with nothing in the mail. If they go back on their word over a relatively minor issue such as this, I cringe to think what they must do to get your business. You have been warned! 12/29/15 - Check now received.
