We have a home warranty and filed a claim through them to get our AC fixed. They assigned this company who I had to call multiple times until they finally came out. Once they came out, they looked at the unit for a little, said we need 2 lbs of refrigerant and that they would have to submit it to the home warranty company and get their approval prior to fixing anything. I called them back a couple days later and they told me that they submitted the diagnosis and were waiting on my home warranty company. I called my home warranty company and was informed they never submitted the diagnosis. This continued for a week. I finally just had someone else come out and fix our AC. A week and a half later, I get a call from Spartan saying I need to pay a $75 service fee. I said they never fixed anything or even completed the job OR submitted the diagnosis. They told me it doesn't matter and I need to pay anyways. Obviously I refused since they did nothing and never finished the job and told them I would get with the home warranty company to see what they recommended. The lady on the phone with Spartan got irritated and said "That's fine we will just put this out for collections under your name."

I can't believe how unprofessional this business was from start to finish. I still can not believe they refused to come back out and fix the AC... I did not even know they could do that. And then to have the audacity to tell me I need to pay them?!

100% do not recommend to anyone.

After three hours of work, and using a sawzall to wreck my pipe, Samuel said it was late, he couldn't fix it, and he was leaving. He then had the nerve to say, "Who's paying me for this? you owe me $300". I corrected what he destroyed and had my plumbing back on the next day. Should have done it myself to begin with. Find another company for your plumbing needs.

After spending over $5000 the owner refused to discuss a customer service issue. There are plenty of good plumbers ........skip this one.

Spartan Plumbing and heating/AC has worked for me for years! They are courteous, polite and very well trained to fix whatever problem I have. Their prices are very reasonable and their technicians can be trusted in your home. Yesterday was 106 degrees and I discovered my 84 and 86 year old parents were sitting in a very hot house. I called Spartan and they were the within the hour. They knew how important it was to get cooler air these older folks, which they did. I was so very grateful as it was very late in the day and burning hot. I recommend them highly! I do not believe you will disappointed in their work or their technicians. Kory specializes in AC and Jesse specializes in Plumbing. Both super guys. Way to go, Spartan! You saved the day!

Spartan had been called twice by the management company of the rent home I am leasing, they could not find the a/c problem, they suggested next time leave it running and call us so we cal read the "code". The next time I called Spartan, several months later, they said we don't work with your management co, then 15 min later a technician showed up at my door, he called his "boss" while at my place and said we have it cleared with your management co we can bill them. Well 2 months later I get the bill!

I had a clogged sewer pipe. They camp out and fixed it at a reasonable price, A couple days later my sewer was clogged again. Spartan came out again and made sure it was flowing, at no $cost! Thanks!

We had a bad experience with Spartan Plumbing. They were hired to dig up and replace our main sewer line going from the back of the house to the alley. In the process of digging up the line they cut our main water line in two different spots. They said that they would patch the water line be not guarantee the work. The only way that they would guarantee their work was if they put in a whole new main water line. We decided to get the new line run so we didn't have to deal with it in a year or two. Bottom line is we didn't have a main water line issue until they worked on the house and ended up paying a lot more money for a repair that did not need to be done until Spartan screwed it up!!! I will never use them again.

Raul, the owner of Spartan has been my plumber for the past 10 years. He went out on his own a short while ago to start his own plumbing, heating and air conditioning business. He worked for another plumbing company for years which is how I found him. He's amazing. Very professional, kind, trustworthy and does a great job for a reasonable fee. I would not use anyone else for my plumbing, heating or air conditioning needs. Everyone I have recommended him to always tells me how happy they are to have found him. You won't be disappointed.
