They are the 3rd company I got quotes due my clogging issue. They gave me the best price and got things done quick. Chelse was also very communicative in regards what time the plumber will show up.

It is unfortunate that some of the plumbers at this company feel compelled to run scams.

We had a fellow out to run the sewer line, among other things. His sewer line scam is simple and effective.

(1) He runs the sewer line and tells you he has run into a significant problem which could be very costly to fix.

(2) He tells you that there are 2 options. First, ignore the problem and risk sewage backup. Second, for an additonal $280 he can run a camera through the line to find out what the problem is.

(3) Obvioulsy the homeowner chooses the camera. He pockets the money and runs the camera for the terrified homeowners and becomes a hero when he says that, incredibly, there is no problem.

I foiled his scam because, having had a camera run 6 months earlier, I suspected there was no problem. When I found out the inexperienced assistant had run the sewer line, I demanded that the senior guy run the sewer line while I watched. Incredibly it turned out there was not a problem.

As a final courtesy, when he left and dragged the machine he ran the sewer line with up the basement stairs carpet, he left a trail of sewage water.

Had a plumbing issues at one of my Rentals and was able to schedule the Spartan team to assist. Not only was he able to fix the issue I reported but while he was there, the tenant complained about another issue and he called me to notify me which he assisted in fixing while he was already there. My kitchen sink had become completely detached from a granite counter, with garbage disposal attached, and I had no idea how to fix it, nor was I strong enough to re-attach it. I called Spartan after doing some research and reading reviews and I am so glad I did! Jeff was amazing! He was friendly, kind, and professional. He explained everything, every step of the way, and gave me a very reasonable price! My personal experience included absolutely no upselling, I received a straightforward price for the work after he made a plan. Jeff went above and beyond! He was quite a bit lower than another quote I had received and even came back the following morning to re-attach the garbage disposal, and did not charge me for the second visit. I am in social work and going back to school, I was frightened of the cost of having a plumber fix this sink! I am now completely relieved that I was able to have the sink professionally fixed AND I actually did not go broke in the process! Thank you Jeff and Spartan Plumbing! I will absolutely use you again and will recommend you to anyone needing an honest (relatively affordable) plumber!

Would recommend you keep your guard up with Spartan plumbing as they'll try to upsell an insane amount. They were fast to come out to give a free diagnosis on my hot water heater and toilet that needed a new float.

What really annoyed me was on my Rinnai hot water heater which was showing an error code and shutting off the hot water. The hot water heater is 6 years old and need to be serviced. Before doing anything the plumber explained how these systems can erode easily if not regularly serviced. He said he could clean in for like $400 but couldn't guarantee it wouldn't have issues inside and may break when opening it up. If it breaks, because supply chain issues, it would take 45 days to get the replacement parts and would cost around $4,400. Conveniently he could replace the hot water heater same day with a US one for only $600 more or $5k. I asked what the probability was of it being broken or getting broken when opening which he couldn't say. That meant if I let him open it , I was at his discretion as to whether I'm paying $400 to clean or $5K for a new system, all with me not even being there. I know when someone is trying to handle me. I told him to do nothing on the hot water heater and just replace the toilet float which was $200. That's expensive for an easy fix but within reason.

On the hot water heater, I had Hot Water Now! come out and clean it the next day which fixed the issue. They also had Rinnai replacement parts if needed rather than trying to sell me a whole new system. It cost $324 and is now working.

Contacted Spartan Plumbing for preventive maintenance service to clean out my sewer line. Sammy Carr showed up and not only did a thorough snake line job, but also explained in detail the process and offered suggestions on future preventive maintenance service. Sammy answered all my questions and cleaned up well his work area. If you need a great plumbing company that offers great service at reasonable price call Spartan. Sammy is a true pro and a special shoutout to Ms. Jamie (the dispatcher) who kept me communicated on appointment status.

I read the reviews on yelp and thought this outfit would be perfect for my plumbing project. And they seemed to be responsive and even did Saturday work, but about half an hour into the appointment window they called and said there was some other emergency that they needed to attend to. They said they would get back with me later in the day, which never happened. After waiting around for five hours, I went with another firm that was actually reliable and showed up.

Spartan Plumbing came out for emergency gas leak repair to get our heat turned back on during a cold snap in February. Jeff was awesome! Super communicative, very knowledgeable, and did a thorough job.

The work was well-priced and below other quotes I received for the same job.

The only reason I knocked off a star is for their scheduling experience. The guy that answered the phone in the morning couldn't book an appointment. He told me someone would call me back in an hour and no one did. I had to call them back and play some phone tag.

This was our first time ever calling a plumber and we are very happy we went with Spartan. Randy responded quickly and started the huge project the following day. The whole project involved replacing all the plumbing under our basement, a new furnace (installed by a different company) and a new water heater. We also opted to add a water conditioning system since they were that far in it. We were given all the options prior to any work being done, there was never any hard sell on any work or products (the conditioning systems was something we always talked about getting).

We will surely be using, and recommending, Spartan in the future.
