Absurd prices and predatory pricing! They wanted to charge me 2,000 dollars to attach a hose bib which is at most a 80 dollar part and would take less than an hour tops as there was already a hole prepared for the hose bib. I couldn't believe my eyes. Unfortunately, I caved and agreed to have a different job where they were re-plumbing 6 ft of copper pipe which ended up being a 2-3 hr job for 1,000 dollars. In hindsight I regret the day they came to my property with their predatory pricing and dishonest practices. When it came time for the quote before the job was done they showed me how much it would be per month instead of how much the total project would cost me. This was my first red flag and I wish I would have listened to my gut and just kindly asked them to leave my property after such absurd pricing.

Video of interaction with Tech that they sent out to look at the damages they caused plus a personal message. https://youtu.be/Ei3gmn-krDU

Last week I had a plumbing issue and I called Spartan Plumbing to fix it. They were unable to clear the larger issue, which is fine. We hired another company to do that. They did, however cause a second clog, which ended up flooding our laundry room. I called and asked for someone to come out to take a look. They did not return my call. I called again and the manager proceeded to talk down to me and tell me that they were not liable, but sent someone out anyway. The second set of techs did the exact same thing that I did and turned on the washer, which again flooded my laundry room. They cleaned it up partially but did not fully clean it. They confirmed that the previous tech caused the problem and someone would call me. They never called.

I called back and was told that they ""could have charged me for sending techs out"" and they didn't need to move the washer to remove the water under it because ""there was already water damage on the floor"". I was told that I ""want to be irritated"" by the situation and I was told not to go this route and what I requested was against policy. No one told me not to do anything and how do I know their company policy?

They sent a tech out finally to review the damage after discovering that we never signed a liability waiver. I thought it was a good faith effort to resolve the issue. Boy, was I wrong. It looks like they sent their tech out to gauge the damage to see if there was enough for me to hire a lawyer. Since it wasn't, I am not worth their time.

I emailed the owner. He blamed the entire thing on me and will not discuss the issue. My husband called and was hung up on and told to stop calling, they are busy and they will no longer be taking our calls.

You know, the first day I called I would have been happy with ""Hey, we are sorry that happened. Let us take a look, but we may not be liable for the floor."" All I wanted was a tiny amount of respect as a human being. I guess that is too much to ask for from this company. 0/10 Do not recommend.

If it was possible to give Spartan Plumbing higher than 5 stars, we would!
Our spare bathroom shower had a leaky faucet and my husband tried to fix it himself because it seemed like it would be a quick patch. When we got into it though, we realized that most of the pipes were disintegrating and anything we tried to fix just called multiple other issues. We ended up having to turn off water through the whole house. We call Spartan that night and they scheduled a visit for first thing in the morning.
They showed up on time and were considerate of our house (putting on shoe covers). Within 20 minutes they had inspected everything and started talking us through the options. We ended up having the whole house re-piped, getting a new water heater, installing a water softener, and adding a water line to the fridge.
Spartan came back within an hour with three guys and all the supplies they needed. They immediately got to work because they told us it would definitely be a two day job. As the day went on, they had more men show up to help as they got done with their other jobs for the day. By the end, there were 8 people working at our house and they stayed till 7pm that night just making sure we had a usable shower that night. They came back first thing in the morning and were done by 5:30pm. They mopped and swept the basement to clean up any mess they made. They even started a load of laundry for us since we had towels lying everyone collecting the water and they needed to rest the lines anyway.
All of this cost us a lot of money but it was well worth the service we got and know this will just increase the value of our house for later. Everything is also under warranty for 3-5 years, so knowing if anything goes wrong we can have it fixed quickly is a huge perk.
Spartan Plumbing exceeded all of our expectations! After having such a hard time trying to fix it on our own and having this very unexpected expense, it was so nice to have a great experience and people that really cared about getting us back to normal!
