I needed our sewer line snaked on a Friday. They were the only plumbing company that answered the phone. Scheduled me in at the end of day that same day. Two people showed up. Spent a little over an hour. Charged me over $230! Really responsive but really expensive.

Simply the best plumbers in Montezuma County. Knowledgeable and efficient.

10/12, Very nice man named Gerrardo came out to quote on adding in a bathroom at my house. He told me he would take the info to Sam and have a quote in a few weeks.
10/31 Called and asked about quote, receptionist told me they were waiting on Sam to get correct time and materials info.
11/9 Called again, Sam on vacation - still no quote.
11/15 Talked to Sam, he said he could maybe have somebody out in 2-3 days to take a look at what I needed. Told him Gerrardo was out over a month ago! He said ""Well, Gerrardo is on vacation and I am really understaffed. If you need to find somebody else, that's OK.""
VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. Wasted a month of my time with them.

Sparks Plumbing has provided service to our home on several occasions. Overall, they have been very good at fixing the problems. Once there was a little issue afterwards, but they made good and fixed everything to our satisfaction. We have also been using them for our 2nd bathroom additions. That has been a challenging project, but the parts they have completed were done well and we're expecting few issues as we go forward. Somehow, one part of the project didn't get a proper estimate added to the expected work, so there was a little surprise when that bill was added, but mistakes can happen, so that's life. Not a big deal.

Nothing but praise for this company: had two problems; one - a frost free faucet burst and two- our water main under the house was not functioning properly. They had problem one fixed in a half hour and promised to get us on the list for problem two since it needed a trencher.

GREAT SERVICE and GREAT RESULTS. Thanks for practicing COVID best practices during this time, Sparks. Everyone was wearing a mask.
These guys are always professional and they fix the problem, period. It's hard to find service professionals in a small community - this is a number you'll want to hang onto, stick it on the fridge.

We are new to the Cortez and Mancos area and when moving it is always difficult to learn who the go-to service providers are. Comfort Air (terrific advice and service!) recommended Sparks Plumbing to install a boiler (new construction). Boilers (giant on-demand water heaters used for both appliances and in-floor heat) are complex to purchase and install. The initial guess estimate was $7000-$8000. Sparks provided great professional service at less than the estimated price. We learned from several people and contractors that Sparks is the go-to provider for this kind of work. We would give Sparks 10-stars if we could.

I used Sparks to plumb in my espresso machine in my shop. The guy they sent to do the job told me it was more complicated than he realized, and he had to call in 2 other plumbers for consultation. The job took most of the day and they charged me for a full day's labor. We felt we should not have to pay for an inexperienced worker, who had to wait over an hour for help. Then we found out that this company had plumbed in the same machine at a local restaurant (which we bought the machine from) so they should have been familiar with it! And that restaurant told us it had only taken them a couple of hours. Furthermore, they did not use a long enough drainage hose--instead they pieced together two smaller ones, and now I have a leak--less than 3 months later. I would not recommend this company and I will certainly not use them again.

I bought my home in 2009 and around 2013 my toilet started bubbling when the shower was being used. I called Sparks plumbing and they came out and snaked my drain (not sure what the exact cost was but it was under $100). Had the same issue earlier this summer, so I called Sparks plumbing again. Eddie, came out and snaked the drain again and said it was clean. Got the bill in the mail this time for $190 for the same service, at almost double the price. 6 weeks later I had to call another plumber to snake my line again as the toilet was bubbling again when the shower was used. The new plumber pulled all kinds of roots out of the drain and claimed that the previous work wasn't done correctly. The new plumber only charged $110 and came out on a Sunday. Needless to say, I was not very pleased with the work and the pricing of said work and do not recommend Sparks plumbing.
