They installed a water heater system in our building. The install was done improperly, and not to code. They installed a water heater to vent less than 7' above a walkway, due to choosing the wrong exhaust pipe size (3"" vs 4"" pipes). While this is against code, this is also a common sense issue, as no customer would want to smell gas as they enter and leave their building. I assume this was done to increase their profit instead of do the right thing for our install.

When confronted and questioned about their work and choice to vent the gas-smelling air into the public walkway, the company was combative. I had to read the manual myself, and validate the code myself, because the company was insistent there was no issue. It made no sense, and in the end I was right.

At the end of the day they wouldn't budge, even when confronted with the evidence from the manual. It wasn't worth it to engage small claims processes, and we hired another contractor to redo the work properly.

tl;dr - Don't work with Spadaro!

We have used them several times for different issues. They have always been able to fix the problem. Good service at reasonable rates.

You should know that if you request emergency service the fee is $500 for them to come out regardless of outcome. However, you can speak to them on the phone to determine if it is really an emergency. We did that and found a way to solve the leak before they came.

Had a great experience with their emergency services. Had water burst from our ceiling in the bathroom, and they were able to help identify the problem and fix it entirely.

They came on site for 10 minutes and charged us over $500 for not doing any work but offering ""consultation."" Even when we asked for a partial refund (the payment was made automatically before we could stop it), they said no. I'll never call this vendor again.

First off the tech was great, but the business practices employed by this company are downright dishonest. They track the time the tech spent on site by the GPS location of the truck, so guess what, if the truck is in your neighborhood for two hours and the job only takes an hour, you are getting charged for two.

Yesterday, I had Chris come out to inspect a leaky pipe in my bathroom wall. He not only instantly diagnosed the problem, but must've used some kind of magic to figure out the exact spot in the wall to cut to find the leak! It was amazing. He patched the pinhole effortlessly and proactively scheduled a water ""shut off"" with my condo building association. I am so happy with Spadaro and Chris! They are punctual, responsive and excellent at what they do!

Tech came to inspect a sewer smell. Spent about 5 min and determined it was not plumbing issue. Did not use any tools just looked around. Bill came in for $195.00. I would not call them if they told me minimum charge is $195/hr. I asked for reasonable charge. Jason wanted me to pay in full. I can imagine how much they would charge for actual real job !!!

Spadaro was recommended by a neighbor as a referral. We had an emergency with a pressure relief valve on a water heater. Spadaro was quick to come out, analyzed the problem and fixed it quickly. They were also incredibly patient as I was visiting my mother in the hospital and they waited for me to get back to the house. I can't thank them enough. The plumber did a great job and gave me a quick lesson on what to do in the future.

These guys are complete idiots and amateurs. Unresponsive and irresponsible. Obvious leak in the ceiling in my unit, and they can detect moisture but not where it's coming from. Unresponsive when it comes to actually resolving the issue. Using basic tools, not even thermal imaging cameras.

They may be ok for rinky dink projects, but don't consider using them in an emergency, or anything professional.
