I have always dreaded having to call a plumber, but a few days ago I needed one for a minor issue. I saw the good reviews on Yelp and decided to try them. Best plumbing decision I ever made!! I was treated like I was the most important customer of the day even thought I just had a slow-draining sink. They agreed to come out the next day but almost as soon as I hung up, they called back and asked if I minded if they came the same day instead! Mikcah Jr, who I believe to be the son of the owner, called before coming, showed up on time, immediately fixed the problem and even put my items back under the sink without being asked. I then asked the cost of fixing a dripping faucet but I told them that I thought the faucet was obsolete and couldn't be repaired. Mikcah Jr took a picture of the faucet and sent it to Mikcah Sr, who immediately said they could install a new cartridge so I wouldn't have to pay for a new faucet. Mikcah Jr then said he could do the work right now since he was already at my house and it would cost only an additional $80. The total bill came to $210 which included the service call, fixing the drain and installing the new cartridge. All costs were clearly explained before the work was done. Mikcah Jr's helper even changed out a toilet seat for me at no extra charge. (I had already purchased the new toilet seat). Space City Plumbing is the most honest, customer service oriented plumbing company I have ever dealt with. I highly recommend them!

This is the second time we used them. Originally, we had to get a shower valve repaired and while they were there, we had them fix the toilet which actually involved breaking up some concrete to fix the toilet flange. They were very reasonable on the final bill.
I was so impressed with them, when we had an issue with a slab leak in the kitchen - we called them out to re-pipe the kitchen by running pipe thru the attic instead of doing a slab repair. Not a cheap fix but definitely glad we did it.
We will call them again in the future if we need plumbing assistance.
You can feel safe with them, great people!

I am adding to my earlier review. I was very surprised the owner called me today, 5/2, to discuss my original review. He was so nice and patient while I explained why we chose to not use their services. His price was within reason of other companies I called. I did not want to place additional pressure on hubby to get down on the floor to continue trying to remove the 2 bolts. He purchased a particular type of drill and the 2 bolts were immediately drilled out. I will definitely call Space City Plumbing if we have additional plumbing problems.

Came out to fix a leaky shower head, they said they needed to cut a whole in my sheet rock and go from behind wanted to charge 600 plus. My son in law came and removed handle and plate that turns shower on and off bought 2 spring rubber seals for $4.00 and replaced it in less than an hour.

In March, we had Space City Plumbing install a new water heater and was very happy with their fast response to getting the work done. Their service man, Jessie, was very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable, answered all our questions and got the job done quickly. he made sure everything was running perfectly. We decided to go with quality water heater instead of cheaper brands where we had to keep putting in water heater thermostats every few years. We will continue to use Space City Plumbing.

I needed two spigots changed. I called Space City Plumbing. They did not give a quote over the phone, but said the guys would give me a price when they got to the house. When the guys arrived they quoted $240. I thought that was high. Then they offered $200 cash I wanted it done; I agreed. It took them less than fifteen minutes to do the work. I thought that was a little bit pricey.

Before today I had never found a plumber that I thought was competent and did a good job. In the 26 years I have lived in this house, today was the first time any one has been able to explain and fix some chronic plumbing issues. These guys are great! Thank you Jesse and Augustine, the Space City Plumbing techs who came out today! They LISTENED to the details of the problems, figured them out, explained in detail to me what was going on in the plumbing system, gave me several alternatives on how to go about getting them fixed, then did what was needed at a very fair price. Everyone was friendly and helpful, from Mike at the front office to the guys that came out. Thank you for the good work and friendly service!!

Highly recommended! Space City Plumbing was able to instantly fix my clogged drain, which another service company could not. Friendly, courteous and professional. Do yourself a favor and call Space City Plumbers first.

I had a leak in my garage and I asked my friends who they trusted for plumbing repairs and I only received feedback on plumbers NOT to use. So I jumped on Yelp and called Space Citv Plumbing, hoping for the best. I honestly believed I got was I was hoping for... THE BEST!

Mike was so friendly and down to earth. I immediately felt like I hired someone I could trust. He was very thorough and checked the attic and the bathroom. The bathroom was on the other side of the wall. He found the issue in my bathtub which was away from the sign of the leak. The guy obviously knows his stuff because I would have tore up my wall first lolol.... That is why I called someone who knew what he was doing.

Mike even took the time to explain preventative measures for possible future drainage problems. I honestly can say I trust and highly recommend Space City Plumbing. I plan on changing out my bathroom fixtures in a few months and I will be calling these guys back out for the install.
