Company Overview

In need of a quality plumbing expert? You've found your solution! I strive to offer trustworthy plumbing solutions for residential and commercial needs. Punctuality and respect for my clients' time are priorities for me. I understand that your time is precious, and waiting for a plumber is never ideal.

You will work directly with me, the owner of the business. This ensures clients work with someone who is fully invested in their needs and the business.

All inquiries receive a response within 24 hours, except for urgent matters. Emergency services are prioritized and handled promptly. I also provide troubleshooting assistance over the phone, so clients can receive guidance for minor issues.

My specialties include, but are not limited to, Water Line Repairs, Kitchen Faucet Repair, Video Pipe Inspections, Leak Detection, and more! I started this business with the notion that if I could make a good living as an employee, I could launch my own company at a more affordable price. It all started when my dad's home in Daly City needed a bathroom remodel. As a motivated teenager, I chose to handle the remodel on my own. It was a compact 5-foot by 5-foot bathroom. I set up the sink and shower pan enclosure, with a little help on the plumbing end. To make a long story short, I ventured into different fields but always returned to the plumbing trade I cherish. Having learned from multiple companies and mentors, along with my passion for plumbing, I am determined to keep progressing! I handle plumbing, ""Do you?"" I hold respect for everyone, be it a doctor, dentist, tattoo artist, teacher, etc. I may not excel in those fields, but we all invest time, money, and energy into our work! Thank you, fellow professional!

Definitely five stars for Jacob! A great one man show! He can get booked up quick, but it definitely worth the wait given his good work and very reasonable price. He changed a leaky kitchen faucet and bathroom tub valve. He also fixed a few problematic angle stops. On top of that, he is extremely personable and fun to talk to! He'll be the first person we turn to if we have plumbing issues again!

Jacob was so professional and provided excellent customer service. He was very prompt and very educated in his field. My new water heater works better than my other one ever did and Jacob was able to answer a few of my plumbing questions.

I reccomend Sovereignty Plumbing to All of my family and friends. It is extremely comforting knowing that I can call Jacob and have a plumber I can trust!!!

I assisted a client of mine with her rental property when tenants called in for bathroom drain not draining properly. Jacob has helped us with another property and i called Jacob and got his voice message but very quickly he texted back saying -- I will call you later. That tells me he is finishing up on another job and i think that was a good thing to do. And i explained the job and he very quickly was there the following day. He called from the job site to let me know the problem with the drain and his charge -- very reasonable and job done well ! Landlord and tenants are happy that problem was resolved quickly! Definitely Jacob is the go-to plumber!

I was so impressed with Jacob. I contacted him, and he immediately made room on his schedule to come out the next day at 8 am, to help me install my dishwasher back into the cabinet. It had come loose and was tipping over everytime I opened the door to unload the dishes. He was impeccably prompt, looked at the situation and found a solution immediately. I had had another plumber come out twice before to do the same thing, but it never stuck. Jacob put in a piece of plywood as a shim and adjusted the back of the legs of the dishwasher to make it more stable. He did a really nice job and was totally reasonable in price point. I will definitely be calling him up for my next plumbing problem. Thanks, Jacob!

Jacob did a great job installing our dishwasher. In addition to the plumbing, the job required removing cabinetry before installation, and doing the finish carpentry and painting afterward. He did all this to a high standard. We particularly appreciated that he cleaned up as he went along. An excellent experience.

I've used Sovereignty twice, with great results.

The first time was when my water heater had an internal part start to dissolve into crumbs of plastic that blocked up my faucets and shower (an issue with the 90s models of the brand). Jacob and his crew came and found that the heater had been installed without a permit by a prior owner and had never been inspected. They made a good recommendation for a new one, brought it and installed it without a drop of water spilling on the floor, drilled through the external wall to run a new pipe through it, and cleaned up after themselves really well. When inspection time came, they came back and were very courteous and helpful to the inspector, which helped. The slope of the original vent had to be changed, and Jacob regretfully showed me where a wire conduit pipe had to be moved, which meant the work could only be done by a licensed general contractor. I asked if he could recommend one, and the guy he named did a great job and the second inspection was passed with ease. I really appreciated Jacob's guidance, since I knew nothing at all about water heaters, San Francisco permits, etc. at the time.

The second time was this year, when I needed a new kitchen faucet and a toilet tank valve replacement. Jacob came with his helper (who was friendly to me and paid attention to Jacob's training) and bought the right kind of faucet, returned, and had both jobs done in a total of two hours. Again, they cleaned up completely, and I'm very happy.

In both cases, my home ended up in better shape than it had been even before I needed to replace the appliances in question. Jacob is ""my"" plumber.

Jacob, the owner and sole employee of Sovereignty Plumbing is possibly the most dishonest and unprofessional businessperson that I've encountered in the Bay Area. I purchased one of the deals that he was offering on the Angie's List website. The deal was for one hour of plumbing services for $117. After the purchase I sent an email to follow up and to schedule the work. After the email, I called and left a voicemail. I didn't receive a call back. The next day, I called again and left another voicemail and followed that up with another email. After finally getting Jacob on the phone I described the job and I told him that I needed to have a plumbing permit pulled for the work. He gave me a quote of $275 for the time and materials and $250 for the permit. After I told him that I had purchased the $117 deal that he offered, he came up with a whole bunch of bogus excuses for why he didn't want to do the work. I told him that he shouldn't offer the deal if he wasn't going to honor it. He basically said that he didn't have to honor the deal and that it didn't matter because he could just go make the money off of someone else.

Luckily, I found an honest plumber who did the work in an efficient and professional manner and who only charged me for the time that he actually worked plus the materials ($30) and for the actual cost of the permit which was only $169. The following week I had my inspection by the plumbing inspector from SFDBI and the work passed without any problems.

Jacob of Sovereignty Plumbing was simply angry because he wasn't able to rip me off by getting paid $245 an hour and by over charging me for the cost of the plumbing permit. On top of all of that, I still haven't received a refund for the $117 plumbing deal that I bought! What a shady character!

Yesterday, I had a dishwasher installed by a Home Depot arranged subcontractor. The installers left after they declared the dishwasher leak-free. Well, the first time I ran the dishwasher, there was a huge leak. Home Depot said they could send out the installers again in 4 days to fix the problem. I was reluctant to wait this long, especially for someone who did the job incorrectly the first time.

I searched yelp for ""dishwasher installation"" and came across Jacob at Sovereignty Plumbing. I called Jacob and he talked me through the fixing the problem immediately. It turns out, the Home Depot installation team forgot to reattach the air gap. Easy fix.

A professional consultant and a class act - Thanks, Jacob! I now have a plumber I can trust.
