Over a few weeks we developed a significant, low pressure water problem throughout our home and had a minor problem with 2 toilets that were continually running. I called Church Services on a Saturday and within a couple of hours the dispatcher sent Kerry Tousand out (no extra charge for weekend service). Kerry quickly and professionally diagnosed the problems, fixed the running toilets and within a couple of hours replaced a main water valve and had us back up and running with good water pressure. Everyone I dealt with at Church Services was courteous and professional.

I had a toilet leak and due to a problem with the outside water valve, even shutting off the water would not stop the leak from continuing to spread water over the bathroom floor. I called church services and they were honest with me about their workload and that they would get to it as soon as possible. They arrived about an hour earlier then they estimated. The employee who worked with me was called Kerry. He was very professional, courteous and took his time to explain everything that was needed and why the problem occurred. He provided recommendations as needed and after the job was complete, he said to call him on his work cell even if it is just to ask a question. I'm not sure if all the employees are like Kerry but I know that I will continue to use their services as long as Kerry is the representative that services my calls. He was a really nice guy from start to finish and went out of his way to make sure everything was working properly after he completed his work. He even gathered all the wet blankets that I put there to stop the leak and cleaned the area for me. Highly recommended.

I called Church Services due to a plumbing problem at a rental property that I have. They came out quickly and fixed the problem. The tenants said they were very efficient and friendly. Thomas Wheaton was very professional and courteous to me in explaining the problem over the phone and he also emailed me the Invoice. Everyone from the person setting up my appointment to the technicians were very helpful and efficient. I would recommend them and use them in the future.

We have had work done by Southwest Plumbing in the past and been very pleased with their work, so when our toilet stopped working, they were the ones we called. They came out right away, ran a camera in our line and told us roots had broken a pipe. They would need to dig a little under the foundation and replace the pvc pipe...allfor a grand total of $5120!!! They told us it would take around three days to do the work. We decided to get a second opinion. Another plumbing company came out, ran the camera and agreed we did have roots which broke a pvc pipe. They quoted us $2100. We had the other company do the work, which took around 14 hours total to finish. I did notice on Southwest Plumbings quote they are now called Southwest Plumbing/Christian Brothers...I believe Christian Brothers bought Southwest. I would give Southwest 2.5 stars if i could. I am sure they are a good company, but how can you justify $5120 when someone else can do the same job for $2100?

I had a remodel being done and need the bathroom drains snaked out. It was $75 just to get them here, then they charge twice what the going rate is. I will NEVER call them again, don't waste your time with them, just find someone else.

Started off bad because of a communication breakdown but the owner made it right. Being willing to admit a mistake ranks high in my book. Even though they didnt do what I hired them to do, I got a full refund without any hassle and because of that I will use them again in the future without hesitation.

Here is my experience with Southwest plumbing. I called them for a very specific repair (needed a valve added to my incoming water line). They quoted me a price of over $900, I paid them $80 for the 10 minute service call/estimate. The plumber was very nice and professional, he showed up on time and wore a clean uniform. The lady I spoke to on the phone was nice and explained there would be an $80 charge whether work was done or not. The price for the work seemed to high, so I declined to have them do the work. I called another licensed Master plumber, he came out for no charge and quoted me the exact same work for $275. So, in the end I think Southwest offers great customer service, but their prices are extremely high. I can't say if they do good work, because I didn't use them.

March 31, 2011: Southwest Plumbing went to my 76 year old mother's house to replace lines under the bathroom sink that were leaking. She had a new faucet she had bought and asked the man to install it also. I was originally gonna install the faucet (it takes three minutes) when I discovered the leaking lines. Due to my work schedule, I didn't have time to replace the lines myself. They installed the faucet and charged her $250.00 for three minutes of easy work, plus $169.00 for replacing the lines. I had told my mother they'd probably install the faucet at no charge; or maybe $25 at most. I called the company later and they said that's the standard fee. That's ridiculous. We'll never use the company again.
