I had a compressor starting capacitor replaced and the technician strongly recommended a hard start kit for the unit, which I agreed to. A total of $50 worth of parts and 1 hour of labor (total) cost me $720. SAVE YOUR MONEY - FIND SOMEONE ELSE.
Not a pleased customer due to price. Should have been a $300 bill for the whole thing.
Carla W.The owner of this company is a crook who scams elderly people, Ted Puzio is the owner, he charged my elderly parents 300.00 for an estimate to look at repairing or replacing their hot water heater, then made a list of things that needed to be fixed at their home, 1182.00 to fix their toilet(it wouldn't flush) 598.00 to change the hoses on their brand new washing machine, and the astronomical list of estimates goes on and on, oh, 3700
00 for a new hot water heater, and requested 2000.00 up front, I contacted Mr Puzio via Facebook and requested their 300.00 back, Mr Puzio said that wouldn't be a problem and generated a FAKE paper that made it look like he was crediting their account for the 300.00, when I continued to question him on why it had not posted to their account he said it was because I was hateful about the situation! Yes, I probably was, when you try to scam my elderly parents out of thousands of dollars, he then blocked me from being able to communicate with him on getting this issue straight, oh and the best part is, he is my parents neighbor!! I am in contact with an attorney on this matter, it sickens me for businesses to prey on the elderly!! If anyone else has has issues with this company, feel free to contact me via FB messenger, I've already got a list about a mile long, Carla Michelle Weaver on Facebook!! Steer clear of this company!! They are a complete SCAM!!
Michael V.We had our bath tub removed and a new shower installed a year ago and spent a fortune for it. After a few months we realized the installer had done a horrible job in calking the shower, i have been replacing calk joints since it was installed. Recently we had out shower door recoated with the water repellent system, and now the door is cloudy. Not a happy camper
It's hard to find someone in Roanoke who will service a tankless water heater. They require flushing and cleaning on a regular basis, and I was pretty much done with Wisler's Diamond Club agreement. I checked with Southern Trust, and they were doing a $99 special, which the technician was not apprised of. He didn't think tankless water heaters were included in the special because it's not in their invoicing system. It was not his fault. Stephen was very professional and did a great job, and once I showed him the web special, all was well.
My concern with this company (and Wisler) is that they aggressively sell annual agreements and their technicians make a commission off the sale. However, they're not really that great of deal when you break it down. The $99 was an introductory special for new customers only. The future rate will be $350, or $300 if I pay an additional $307 to join their Care Club. While the brochure claims it includes Home Care Checkups (Inspections) of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical, it does not claim to ""clean"" gunk buildup in the furnace drain line or anywhere for that matter. Maybe it was an oversight in editing the brochure, but at least the HVAC agreement I have with another company does includes the same offering plus a good scrubbing of the pan twice a year, and it breaks down to $90 a visit.
Great company my water heater was leaking. I called them and they came same day to replace it. Technician was nice and you could tell he knows his job well. I would use them again for all of my homes needs. Keep up the great work!!
My wife and I have a business that has us traveling to the Washington Virginia area on a regular basis. Out of necessity we decided to buy a condo in Roanoke. We have 2 small children and within 2 weeks of moving in we discovered the heating system was not working. It was in the middle of the winter and honestly they could have sold me a brand new furnace as I called them for emergency service at 9pm. A gentlemen named Ted called me and had someone at my home within an hour. I happily payed 200 dollars and my heat was up and running. Turned out that Ted was the owner of th company. I will be a life long customer

had a worse experience. was having a electrical problems. called them and lady was very nice told me someone will contact me . Technician called and came out to see whats going on. Before he even look at anything he told me it be $357 before he start anything. called his manager and manager told him to not charge and only charge $99. i appreciate the manager, but Tech was clueless. he calls himself certified but couldn't even figure out what was the issue. there was some corrosion on the wires. i asked him if he could spray something or clean it he refused to do anything. All he was saying that he waived the fees. some how he fixed the problem for night and next morning same thing happened. I called them again and lady told me tech is saying the whole meter, panel, breakers, wires will meed to be replaced. will cost me about 7-10,000. nothing else they can do.UPDATE- Resolution department did call back and went over with me , Very helpful and offered me Membership for Free.. Dwayne M.First off they did show up on time. Then proceeded to upcharge whatever they did in my house with there so called pricing book. Also went on to sell an warranty extension and if you did not purchase their warranty the they proceeded to charge more on the product that you needed to be taken care of. I got so frustrated with the company I asked for all of my extra warranty purchase to be refunded back to me the they went on to say that I would be charged 15% more! Side note I was stupid enough to py S1200.00 for a toliet purchase and install! Now this was an upcharge/inflated price for sure and this is when I started thinking of all the other work that I hah had them do and that is when I asked for the refund and told them that I was not doing anymore business with the. They upcharge because they are charging you for their trucks, insurance and training expenses. Finally they have never returned my call concerning a refund of the money for the extra warranty even the though they should have a warrant that the product has and at least some sort of warranty concerning their labor.
P.S. Don't get suckered as I did. Very questionable business practice and I started using a smaller company that does not get greedy!
One of their plumbers unclogged my bathtub drain. Took him less than 15 minutes. The discounted bill was $733.00!!! I called the office the next day to question this charge and no one was available to speak to me about it. I called again three days later; again, no one to talk to! I called the third time and was put to a manager's voice mail because he ""wasn't picking up his phone"". Since they cannot talk to me I do not need to use their services again. This is HIGHWAY ROBBERY!!!!
