Justin C.Top notch company with top notch customer service. Purchased a home and had them replace the boiler. Couldn't be happier with the professionalism and quality of work done. When we had an issue with our pressure tank, they came right out to take a look. When the issue wasn't resolved, they stayed on top of it until finding the problem. Very enthusiastic and upbeat when they answer calls from customers. We'll be using Southern NH Heating and Plumbing for all our future plumbing jobs!

Elvis G.Disappointed! Andrew did a whole house water system for me a few years ago, and the work was excellent. However, I called for another project, and he doesn't respond to calls or returns any messages. I called the office and spoke with assistant and she said she would call back after speaking with Andrew, she never called back! This leaves me to believe that they discriminate on which customers they choose to work with. This is not only illegal but shows the morality of these people!

They are GREAT communicators, they are Awesome customer service people and they are great plumbers (Andrew is a MASTER PLUMBER). Debbie in the office exemplifies quality customer service.
You would not be wrong calling So NH Plumbers. (Not so with some of these so-called plumbers who don't know one end of a pipe to another.

Fast response time--able to get an appointment right after a recent Nor'easter. And it wasn't the easiest of circumstances: we're talking a 150+ year old house with Old School plumbing. (More like Olde School plumbing--corroded pipes in wacky random configurations.)
Not only were the guys able to fix the problem quickly--a one afternoon job that we were worried might be 2 days or more--but they also were able to fix it for less than the quoted estimate. Yeah, these guys look young, but they know their stuff!
Can't recommend these guys enough!
We called Southern NH Plumbing & Heating (on recommendation from my son, who used them to fix issues before selling his house) to diagnose a flooded basement. We called Saturday morning, and by that afternoon, our problem was identified. Matt came out and quickly saw that our water heater was leaking. The owner of Southern NH P & H, Andrew, initiated the investigation of a possible warranty, and within a day we had a new water heater. They are proficient, expedient, respectful of our needs, and very pleasant. We have now found a plumbing company to call our own.
I called Andrew on a Friday to ask for pricing on a new water heater and for a recommendation on what to purchase. He quickly did some research, gave me options along with fair pricing for each. Unbelievably, he said he could install the next day as he understood the desperate need for hot water. He and Tyler arrived as promised and unbeknownst to me that my system wasn't up to code, and they added the needed equipment. Price stayed the same, they cleaned up and even moved furniture back where it belonged. The service Andrew and Tyler provided has been the best contracted experience I have ever had. I highly recommend you put the phone number for SNH Plumbing on your list of favorites.
We had Andrew out once before to do some work in our new home and were happy with his work. Today sealed the deal!! I called on a snowy, cold, icy day because we had no water. Not only did he squeeze in an appointment for us, he was able to replace the pump today. Professional, knowledgeable and responsive (including Debbie who answers the phone!!) Highly recommend them!!
Hair By Liz - Portsmouth NH -.I first called Southern New Hampshire Plumbing and Heating on a Sunday afternoon with the intent to leave a message for a callback to schedule some work. A friendly voice answered the phone. I was taken back because I expected voicemail. I asked if I had reached an answering service, but I was told that I was speaking with the owner, Andrew. Since I'm in the business of sales, I was immediately impressed by the owner's initial customer service goal (picking up his phone on a Sunday!). Happily, I can say with all honesty that it didn't stop there. Andrew explained that he didn't have the ability to schedule and asked if I could call back when the office was open on Monday. This wasn't a problem considering I wasn't calling for emergency plumbing services, rather I was simply looking to make an appointment and grasp some idea of how much services would cost. We ended the conversation with my agreeing to call back on Monday.
Our service call was to unclog a 2nd story toilet in which a ""shower ring"" had accidentally been flushed down (Thanks Mom). We also had other issues that needed addressing which included a leaky downspout, possibly repairing a reverse threaded vanity faucet, and toilets that were not sealed/secured to their respective floors appropriately.
Monday afternoon came and I phoned SNHPH. I left a detailed message on their voicemail. I missed their return call, but after a couple of back/forth calls, I was able to speak with Andrew and get on the schedule for the current week...an appointment that worked for my schedule. Already, I was impressed with their earnest efforts to accommodate me as a new client.
I was scheduled for Thursday and given a window of 2-4, with the promise of a heads up courtesy call roughly 30 minutes before arrival. I asked who to expect and was told it may be Andrew or Dustin.
Thursday came and at roughly 12:25pm I received a call from Dustin, who as I was told, gave me a heads up as expected but also that he was ahead of schedule and would arrive at about 1:00pm. I SO appreciated this. Fortunately, my husband was home to greet him. Dustin introduced himself, was given a run down of what we needed done and proceeded to knock off the items on our repair list that could be addressed. Dustin was knowledgeable and definitely possessed the experience necessary to address our repairs. I would like to add that I have 2 dogs. Dustin was not put off by this and was super friendly with them. It's always a pleasure to have a professional working in your home that is not concerned about your 4-legged family members. (Originally, they were gated but were prematurely released.)
I would be remiss if I didn't add that despite my late arrival, Dustin introduced himself and took the time to explain a couple of things to me that I had inquired about relative to the repairs. He also took the time to look at one last item and offered his advice for a future repair. SNHPH is definitely coming back out again to address a few more items in the future.
Choosing service workers (plumbers, electricians, handy/repairmen, etc.) is a challenge if their not part of your inner circle or business networks. It's even more of a challenge when you're new to an area, which is our case. I did my research. I Yelp!ed, Googled, Facebook Community Searched and asked around. Since the reviews on Yelp! are not biased, I decided to revisit local plumbers on their site. It was important to me that the plumber I chose, not only had a decent online track record, but that they also weren't too far out of my zip code. That's when I settled on Southern New Hampshire Plumbing and Heating.
