Southern Contracting began 29 years back with $1600 in my pocket, some basic tools, and a goal to excel.
Currently, our company boasts 5 trucks, a mobile workshop, and a dedicated crew of skilled workers.
Having graduated from the Refrigeration School of New Orleans, I’ve also taken various contractor-related classes throughout the years.
I continue to invest 15 to 20 hours annually in training to keep up with the latest tools and technologies.

Marie M.In late August I called Southern Contracting to come out to service my AC unit that was not working. It took 2 hrs to figure out something was unplugged & I was charged $385 & if I didn't pay it he would unplug it & leave me hot When I called the owner to ask why it was $385 I was told if I didn't pay he would put a lien on my house & I would have to get an attorney. I was then informed I would have cold air in 2 hrs I paid the $385 to get cold air in August. I was accused of tampering with the unit in the attic when Southern Contracting was the only one that serviced my unit. The next day when I texted the owner that the air was not cold I was informed he was not coming back. Because Southern Contracting couldn't figure it out I called another company who figured it out in 30 minutes.
