Had a range installed by big box store and they didn't do a very good job making it fit flush with the counters. Was around the holidays so I reached out to a few contractors and companies to see if anyone could help. Kerry was one of the first to respond and one of the only to give an honest estimate without wanting to charge to come out and inspect. Further, he was able to quickly get me on his schedule and came by right on time. Talked through his plan and executed it perfectly. Even went out to buy a supply to seal a gap that he noticed had some air leaking through. Aside from how well he did with this job, he was willing to offer advice on other odd jobs around the home and even offered to help me learn how to do some fixes. That's a real sign of an honest and helpful person that isn't just trying to find ways to charge for any little task. Will definitely use him again in the future.

Our washing machine wasn't draining through the waste pipe in the wall and causing water to back flow everywhere. Our drywall was gummy and clearly there was something going on with the pipe inside the wall. I called several companies and many just told me I would receive a call back. I called Southern Boyz and spoke directly to Kerry, the owner, and he came out within the hour. This was days before Christmas! I was shocked that he was able to come out so quickly, especially being the holidays. He determined quickly that our pipe wasn't up to regulation and couldn't handle the pressure of the new washing machine we had just installed. He provided us with a fair and honest quote. and came out two days later to fix the issue and replace the piping. To top it all off he even does drywall so we didn't need to hire anyone else for that. This is an honest, hard-working, non-corporatized local company. I would highly recommend hiring them for any of your plumbing needs.

It is difficult to find a great contractor and I'm happy I found Kerry at Southern Boyz. Had a small project to be done and he came the next day. Gave me a reasonable quote and I'm happy with the service provided. We talked about a different project I'm planning to do in the future and got great advice from Kerry on how I can do it myself to save money. Definitely will call Kerry again if I need anything done at the house.
