I've only had phone contact with this company but that was all I needed. I called to request an estimate for an HVAC cleaning. A woman answered the phone and proceeded to transfer me to a technician to answer a technical question that I had regarding my ultra-violet sterilization system connected to my HVAC. When I was transferred, the technician we were discussing the issue when another man began having a conversation in their office. I then became privy to an expletive-laden torrent from the guy in the background speaking about his ex-girlfriend being a no-account ""prostitute"" (not the word he used) whose body he was going to deposit in the deepest part of Ivy Creek after he liberated her new boyfriend of his private parts. The tech said, ""um, I'm on the phone with a customer."" And I said, ""no, no you're not."" And hung up the phone. Suffice it to say, Johnston Cooling and Heating got my business today.

I recently had a problem getting a service technician to service my whole house generator. I called out to Southern Air of Lynchburg. I scheduled the service appointment and was set up with Seth or Shawn, he was awesome. He called thirty minutes out and was on time so I didn't have to wait. He called me again after the service to keep face to face at a minimum. He explained everything he did and what did not need to be done saving me out of pocket expenses durning the service. I appreciate the professional and courteous behavior. If you need any work done ion your generator, call southern air of Lynchburg. Well worth the wait!

I just had the priviledge of working with Southern Air for the purchase and installaiton of my Generac Whole house generator. From the estimate to the installation all employees were professional, extremely knowledgeable and always acted in a respectful manner. Southern Air handled the entire process. They got me financing, they obtained all necessary permtis and even coordinated the installation with the electric company, the fuel company I had chosen and the building inspector. The men who installed my generator spent all day at my home, in the heat and never took a break. They were continually working. All my questions about using the generator, any situations that might arise during use, and maintenance were clearly answered and addressed with me. I was given a thorough education about my generator including all the lights and what they indicated, when to refill the oil & replace the battery, how to turn it off or manually operate it and was constantly reassured that Southern Air was available 24/7. When my fuel was installed the Southern Air employee was out to do a test on the machine and activate it. Again I was thoroughly educated about my generator. They day of installation the man doing the electrical work in my closet was even going to vacuum up the mess!!!!! When I looked, there was no mess visible to me, but he was going to clean. I was pleasantly shocked. The whole experience was great and I would give higher than 5 stars if possible. I would strongly recommend Southern Air to anyone. Southern Airt did everything they said they were going to do and it was done early than we expected.
