They have replaced my parents A/C several years ago and come to find out the have been pull 20 dollars a month out for a ""service plan"" for them to do basically nothing. My father called to cancel the plan they talked him into sending someone out since they have already billed him for the month. They found out his hot water heater had a slight leak that it could blow up and kill him tried to hook him for over 8,000 dollars. Told him he could pay it out over 7 years. My father phoned me right before he was about to sign the paper work and I told that crook to get out of the house. This is a shame they/are taking advantage of people like this everywhere. This happened on 08/29/2018 and they have been pull money out of his bank account for years!

Tommy is the man. If any of you have any weird issues with your ac/venting. Call and ask for Tommy; Proficient HVAC technician and an all around good guy. He found out the technicians before did a ""non-proficient"" job. He went out of his way to stay and make everything match appropriately and talked me through the whole thing. Truly appreciate his service

Being the first week of August, I expected a few days wait before they could service my unit. However, Service Tech James Brown, arrived within an hour! He ran test on my R-22 unit and recommend a complete replacement with a more energy efficient upgraded. I just wanted my unit serviced. No problem. JB got right on it.

Also, I had a ductwork issue. They sent over another crew and replaced the defective item promptly.

From service call to payment, everything was complete within two hours.

BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY!!
Had an a/c issue (clogged drain pan) and they came out the next day. Unfortunately the service rep was a scam.
He told me my compressor was bad and that I needed to buy a new unit. I got suspicious when he would not give me any model numbers, that I didn't need them and couldn't compare them.
He told me it wasn't cooling (it was cooling just fine).
He checked my drain pan and told me it was fine (it wasn't)
He said he blew it out to be sure (he didn't).

Two other a/c companies checked out the unit. It is fine and does not need replacing. They said the things he told me were jibberish. Sounds like he left the drain pan clogged so that I would be desperate to get a new unit.

contacted southern air for trouble with ac unit. serviceman returned phone call quickly. made an appointment for 11:00 am and he arrived on time. technician james b. diagnosed problem with contactor and fixed within 30 min. charged 367.00. breakdown was 69.00 for diagnostic and 299.00 to replace contactor. there is a 50.00 off coupon on website. total out of pocket was 317.00. technician was professional and offered deals for service plans. will most likely use them again.

Chris Martin came out today to service my unit. He was very knowledgeable and efficient. He found a couple of things that needed repair and took care of it and it was covered under my warranty so I am very happy. I signed up for their maintenance program so they will come out twice a year. Completely satisfied customer.

James Brown was helpful today coming out same day. Happened to get connections for current compressor fixed and am considering a new package unit. They have member and non-member pricing if you signup for their maintenance program. Were very nice and provided a military discount which is never expected but greatly appreciated. Standard maintenance rates a little higher than others but their prompt service made it worth the cost

5 stars for a prompt response to an appointment and show up clean and professional.

5 stars for fixing things honestly and without gauging.
4 stars for a warranty but it isn't nationwide.

Why only 4 stars not 5? I'm discriminating and I like to use the merchant two times or more before scoring but this is a review worth writing for a solo visit.
