Second plumber in two weeks, two different problems. Did not feel comfortable calling back the first plumber. So contacted South Bay Plumbers. They referred me to the manufacturer to get the parts since it was under warranty and then fit us in to come and replace the parts as soon as they arrived. We felt like we got great service and will definetly call them back in the future if needed. Would also recommend then for anyone looking for an honest plumber.

I am writing an update review. Received a phone call from the this business again, long story short, we had a miscommunication which let to me writing an initial poor review. Things got worked out and they agreed to come out on 10/16/14 to the condo. I was not there to witness the work due to my work schedule. I inspected the work the following day. As promised they took care of the drainage pipe leak underneath the garage and it was professionally done. Also, as promised they locked up the condo for me. Plus, the charge for the work was very reasonable. Thanks again to Southbay Plumbers. A+++

In the middle of the night, we heard a mysterious ""glub glub"" from our bathrooms. First thing in the morning, I tried calling the 2-3 plumbers we've used before and had to leave voicemail messages.

I called South Bay at 9am and the office picked up right away. I explained my problem and she asked if 12-2 arrival time would be OK. I said yes! Tony arrived right on time and took a good look. He told me what he could do, I approved, and he did it. He explained ways we could get around this problem in the future, and he even fixed something in the master shower to improve the water flow; that wasn't even one of the problems I had mentioned.

He did all this for a very reasonable price, and was finished by 2pm. And he was courteous and friendly while working quickly and efficiently.

I still haven't heard back from the other plumbers!

We had a water main break on a Friday. Called a handful of plumbers in San Jose to get it fixed. The earliest anyone would come out to even give an estimate was on Monday. That's at least 3-4 days with no water! The last call I made was to Tommy at SouthBay Plumbers. He came out Friday late afternoon when many would be heading home for the weekend. Replaced the water line from the curb to my house. By Saturday afternoon we had our water restored.

Why do plumbing issues always happen on a weekend -- especially when you have houseguests! I was preparing breakfast and apparently placed too much ""stuff"" in the garbage disposal and not enough water. I ended up with both sides of my kitchen sink filled with standing water. My husband called South Bay Plumbers around 8:15 this morning and Tommy was at our house at 9:00. He had given us a two hour window between 9:00 and 11:00 since he was working us in inbetween other jobs. Tommy was knowledgable, professional and even gave me a couple ""do's and don't"" when using my garbage disposal. We knew we had other plumbing issues in our house but none that required immediate attention. We are glad we had not hired anyone else because Tommy will be our ""go to plumber"" from now on. It is a pleasure to recommend him. We also found his fees to be very fair and reasonable.

After calling around for a plumber on Wednesday to re-plumb our gas line to no avail (first three were unavailable until Tuesday), called Southbay, and they came out the next day to evaluate our needs, and completed the work on Friday. Very professional, friendly, and even helped connect our new gas dryer! Awesome!

We had a major leaking mainline in our front yard, and decided to dig it up on a Saturday. We needed a plumber to put in a new mainline on very short notice (same day) so we wouldn't be without water.

We called about 8 plumbers and got the run-around and no one could come out on a Saturday (despite the hours listed on their websites) - except Southbay!

They pulled up as the sun was setting, said they could do it, and got to work right away! Within a couple hours we had a new copper mainline.

I loved the can-do attitude, and the work quality was excellent. The mainline and shutoff at the house was installed very cleanly and professionally.

5 stars and way above the rest!

Tommy came by for a late night clog. Got on the roof and ran his machine and cleared my blockage in under an hour. Fast, friendly, and cheap! Highly recommend over roto rooter. Cheaper, faster, and was at my house in 20 minutes. Considering I called around 8PM, the earliest availability I had from roto rooter was midnight. Yikes.

I'm extremely happy with Tommy and his crew. We had a water leak, which turned to mold, and they have been wonderful with helping us in this disastrous time.

They have always arrived on time, and been extremely professional and helpful.
