Do not schedule with this company. They were scheduled at least 2 weeks ago to come to my house today between 12 and 5pm for a furnace inspection. At 4:00PM today, I received a phone call stating they do not do furnace inspections in the afternoon and would not be able to come to my house. I am only available Saturday-monday, so they're next availability that works with my schedule would be on a Monday between 12 and 5pm. When I asked why he is trying to schedule between 12 and 5 when he just said he doesn't do inspections in the afternoon, he did not answer, only apologized for the inconvenience. Meanwhile, we've been waiting around for nothing for the last 4 hours! Absolutely horrible. This is why they have a 2 star rating.

The case of the disappearing plumber...

Had a flooding toilet triggered by using the shower, that seemed to be progressing, so I was worried about other water use. Called, nice dispatch, called me back a couple of hours later and said Trevor was on his way.

So Trevor shows up, calls, I go out to direct him, he gets snippy when I tell him he can't park in the fire lane, then I realize the entrance he came in will be closing and he can't fit through the other exit -- bigger truck than I expected-- so he says he'll park just outside the back gate (where there is always plenty of room, a 30-second drive from where I met him).

And then...never seen again. My son looked around and I called his cell a couple of times because we were honestly concerned he might have come to harm, improbable as it seemed. But just got ""voice mail box not set up.""

So then called SW and told them, just in case, and had to repeat a couple of times my lack of interest in a do-over.

If he had called and said it was too far to haul stuff (though we could have helped) or whatever, that's one thing, but just to bail, that's another. The plumber we ended up with, also reviewed here, later parked exactly where I directed Trevor, uneventfully.

Like others here, I should have come here before calling them (I was in an emotional state, so when I saw good ratings on another site, I forgot about Yelp), so suffice to say that I would discourage your making that call.

This is long but I have to tell the whole story,
We had a hot water tank start leaking, it was a leased tank thru PSE, we called PSE, they sent out a tech, the PSE tech said no problem, PSE dispatched FAST Water heater company, OMG!! that was a nightmare!
That guy from FAST Water heater company tried to upsell EVERYTHING! He said we had to have a new stand, more $$$, the vent pipe was wrong, more $$$, the expansion tank needed to be replaced, more $$$, He told PSE the tank had to be moved, The tank has been in that location for over 30 years! and had been replaced multiple times. never was a problem before. after many calls that night to PSE, I told the guy from FAST to get out of my garage! PSE even sent a inspector out that night and he saw no issues , That's when I called Southwest Plumbing! Their installer, Dillon walked in, looked it over and said he would have the tank swapped out shortly!
I would like to say that our experience with Southwest Plumbing was amazing! their installer Dillon was very professional, polite and took pride in his work! Dillon even stopped by the next day to make sure everything was ok, I highly recommend SOUTWEST PLUMBING!!!

Tonight we had a small flood coming from under my kitchen sink while I had the water running. I grabbed towels and started mopping up, looked under the sink and somehow two pipe connections had come undone. I called Southwest Plumbing. They are great, very quick to get here, professional ,work uniforms and booties over shoes when they came in. They put the wet towels in the washer and offered to put everything back under my sink. Plus they gave us a Veterans discount and a coupon discount. Now I have all new metal shiny pipes instead of cheap plastic. Yay.
Will hire again.

I made an appointment weeks in advance for simple plumbing needs. I was given a start time of 8 am - 11am. At 9am I was called and told they were in a ""meeting"" and they would send out a plumber as soon as they were done. 11 am I was called and told noon at 1150 they called and said before 5pm. They said they did NOT finish their jobs from the day before and that is the best they could do. So if you want a reliable company don't bother.

I went to SW plumbing's web site asking for an estimate a few days ago. We agreed on today, I took time off from work. They have called all morning long, saying they're sorry, to be late, but will send someone out before noon. That didn't happen. Instead I got a call at 12:30 PM saying they know they missed the noon deadline, do I want to stay on the schedule with no guarantee they could make it, schedule for tomorrow (to which I replied ""I work and took the day off to meet with you"", or would I rather re-schedule for another time.

Short answer. No thanks. There's no guarantee they could have been here at any time today, and nonchalantly suggesting they come out tomorrow, ticked me off. In fairness I've dealt with them once before and they were here when they said they'd be. The flip side of this coin is that the pipe they repaired failed...

I'm sure they are all very skilled professionals. But company timing and commitment is important to those of us who don't always have much time.

No show. Would have zero stars if that's possible. They gave us a 5:00p to 8:00pm window, we had to call them at 7:45p to find out that nobody is coming. They didn't even have a courtesy to call us, we had to call them. Obviously doesn't value our time, and definitely doesn't value us as customers. Would never use again.

Southwest Plumbing sure came to my rescue today! I got a new refrigerator delivered today and thought the ice maker installation came with the delivery. It didn't. My water could not be turned back on until the ice maker was installed. It was 2:00PM.

I didn't know a plumber, but because of their cheezie ads, I called Southwest Plumbing. Two certified plumbers came out same day, and installed the ice maker no problem, and programmed my refrigerator. Both Michael Jason, and James B. were very knowledgeable, friendly, and most of all very professional.

I will definitely call Southwest Plumbing whenever I need a plumber.

Sadly another negative review... my 92 year old neighbor needed her hose bib replaced. I helped her with the process and talked to the men who came out, they referenced a chart and told me it would be $550. Which seemed high, most range around $300 to install. When I checked in with my neighbor later she said they charged her $1800!!! What??? Honestly any company that preys on sweet, innocent old ladies needs to be called out! We have tried calling to resolve the issue, but they are not calling back! Do NOT trust this business, they are NOT ""the ones to call"".
