Ismael has done several jobs for me in the last few years. He has always been fair, honest, and has never tried to sell me things I don't need. He is very courteous, arrives on time, works hard, and does a good job of cleaning up debris etc. after a job. He has also made cost saving recommendations which have been very helpful. MAN AND HIS BUSINESS!!!

From the very first day ISMAEL arrived on the job to remodel our upstairs bathroom he had the attitude that he was being inconvenienced. He complained that the tile guy had to postpone the job for three weeks and that I had to postpone for a month (I had to travel back east due to my mother having a stroke!). He would never contact me as requested which I stated from day one to let me know the day prior by text what time he would be arriving the following day. He and all other workers were also notified to shut doors at all times due to inside cats. He would arrive at my door and then get upset and call me if I was not immediately available to answer the door. Once the demo was done by him the tile man came and installed the tile and tub. Ismael then came to install fixtures and on the same day requested to turn off the water (I advised him to wait 5 min for my son to take a shower as he had to go to work to which he rolled his eyes which he did every time I tried to speak to him). after my son took his shower I advised him it was ok for him to now turn off the water which was down 2 flights of stairs outside of our garage. I asked if he would like me to do so to which he said no. He proceeded downstairs, through my kitchen sliding door down the garage stairs and outside to turn the water off and then went back upstairs to resume work. I was still upstairs in the master bedroom putting away laundry. I went downstairs 15-20 minutes later while he was still upstairs to find my sliding glass door left open and my cats wandering around on my deck that had never been outside before ever! I am very grateful they did not go missing!!! I went back upstairs and advised him what happened, he showed no remorse and when I got a bit angry (cat or no cat who leaves a customers door open to allow in flies?) he hollered at me and said ""I SAID I WAS SORRY!"" but showed no signs of being sorry. He proceeded to install the tub fixtures and left for the day. Unbeknownst to him, I took photos daily of the work and progress both before work began and after they left. Upon going up to take pictures when he left, I found the brand new tub had been chipped!!! I sent the photos along to my landlord and they contacted him. The resolve was to have the brand tub reglazed as it would be very difficult to remove the new tub without damaging the new tile. When Ismael returned, he had an attitude , placed his hand on his hip and said ""How do you know I chipped the tub???"" Again he did not know I took photos! This man never once admitted to damaging our brand new tub neither when it happened or after the fact!!! He's rude, has no concept of customer service, respect of his customers home or respect of his customers! And don't let me forget to mention how he showed up outside my home when the tub regflazer came to warn him of how difficult I AM (that was not his words). Funny that the reglazer came inside and told me and also told me he had heard other things said about ISMAEL. Odd that I had no problem with the entire Tiling crew, painters and reglazer. STAY AWAY FROM THIS BUSINESS!!!!!!
