They gave me a quote that wasn't the cheapest, but not the most expensive either, and I went with them because they seemed very professional and knowledgeable. They did a great job and were very professional and easy to communicate and work with.

7/8/24, after we spent 5 days in heat without a working AC because M Cattaneo did not address the issue, we secured services for repair of our attic AC. The unit's transformer was promptly diagnosed and repaired by Majic Air. The unit is functional for now but will require replacement in future. Puzzled as to why the South Shore Plumbing proprietor did not have sufficient expertise or interest to provide needed services.

Found Michael thru Yelp and since he was local I called and asked him for a quote on new boiler/heating system as ours was leaking a little bit. He stopped by and gave us a quote which was very comparable to other quotes we received.

We decided to go with Michael and a few days later (before our scheduled installation date) our boiler/heating system completely broke and we had no hot water. He again stopped by and looked it and offered to try to fix it temporarily. We appreciated the offer but we just waited for the scheduled installation date that we had already set.

Michael had said it would take 3 days to install and it took 3 days. He arrived on time every day and worked all day in the very hottest of days. His subcontractor/electricians came on the last day and they were polite and on time. We asked them for their business cards in case we needed future electrical work.

I've attached a photo of his work. Disregard the flooring as that where the old equipment was.

We had an emergency clog in our kitchen sink. Michael came out on short notice and quickly fixed the issue. He was very friendly and talked us through the issue. It was a weekend rate, which made it a bit more expensive, but we still paid less than what I had expected to pay. It was a pleasure doing business, and I'll be coming back for my future plumbing needs!

Excellent work. Quick and easy to communicate with Mike . Set up a time to take a look at what needed to be done and was able to get some work done on the spot, valve stem in the shower and set up a time to come back and Replace the hot water heater and toilet. Work was completed beyond satisfactory. Priced very well and work led very efficiently.
Highly recommend and will reuse when plumbing work needs to be done.
