We had used SPP for a number of years, primarily because we thought they were the only ""game in town"". About 3 years ago, we had the basement tubs rodded out because they were draining slowly. SPP had to come back 2 weeks later and do the job again because the tubs (drain from the stationary tubs) was not rodded out properly (we were not charged for this visit).

About a year ago, SPP replaced a bathtub faucet.

This faucet started leaking several months ago. We called SPP on July 1, 2010. They never came out until August 6, 2010. We were told that the leak was due to old tile and old grout. We purchased a hand held shower and diverted the water to the sink to prove that the water leaking into the basement was not from the tile (we acknowledge that we do have leaks in the tile and grout). However there continued to be a substantial leak whenever the shower was turned on....

The owner of SPPshowed up mid August and aknowledged that the previous diagnosis (""tile problem"" ) was incorrect (and., again, we acknowledged that we had a leak whe the shower was turned on) and that SPP would return at a later date and would have to remove some tile in the bathroom to address the issue and that SPP would also replace the water knobs (original equipment) with up to date hardware. We were not given an estimate on this work.

Well, SPP never followed up nor showed up to complete this work.

On Sept 1, 2010 we called another local plumbing contractor who solved the problem (and acknowledged again, that we still have a ""tile issue"") WITHIN ONE HOUR.

Please do yourself a favor and stay away from SPP.
