Matt with South Austin Irrigation has been my go-to irrigation company for many changes we've made to our yard over the last 4 years. We've done extensive rock work throughout the front and back yards (which required major irrigation changes); converted an entire zone of our irrigation system to a low-pressure drip irrigation system for my 1000 sq ft "in-ground" garden, plus a recent drainage project to top it off.

My experiences with South Austin Irrigation have always been good - Matt is professional and punctual, and has always known what to do to solve the issues I've thrown at him. I was using other companies before I found him, so I can say that his rates are very competitive as well.

Matt is a good communicator and doesn't mind taking time to explain the reasons for doing something one way or another, and then letting you make an informed decision about how you want to handle it. Of course, if you'd rather just stay out of it and let him make the decisions (I'm too curious for that!), he's more than capable of doing that as well.

Found Matt through the positive yelp reviews. Very happy with his service. Had to wait a few weeks but that's a good sign; figure you can't trust a sprinkler company that isn't busy during peak season :). He listened to what I needed and tested, tweaked, repaired and programmed my system. Answered my many questions. Price was fair. I would highly recommend.

My review is pretty much in line with what everyone else has said. Excellent customer service, quick response, nice guys, etc.

I was not really sure what I needed or what was wrong. Matt & Cameron took the time to explain things, show me how they worked, and were able to, not only fix what was broken, but optimize what was working.

Based on the work they did and the time they spent here I was expected a much higher bill. I actually told him before he left that I would be saving his information in my phone in case I ever needed his services again (or to refer to someone else who does).

Really exceptional. I wouldn't consider anyone else after my experience.

Matt is the BEST! Came out, talked about MY goals, he gave several ideas. He provided a cost estimate within 24 hours which I thought very reasonable. He showed up as scheduled, literally worked all day and even though he did a little more stuck by his estimate. If that wasn't enough he's the nicest guy you'll meet all day.

We just recently (couple of weeks ago) used South Austin Irrigation. He had to locate some valves that were buried underground, and did a wonderful job!! He came exactly when he said he would. He is very knowledgeable, and had a wealth of tools with which to find our buried water valve. Matt Sorenson is the owner of the company and did our work.

He is a very agreeable person.

If and when we have any other issues with our MYRIAD of sprinkler zones and anything else irrigation related, we would definitely call him again.
