Was very happy with the service today of our septic pumping. Scott who serviced our tank was very polite and knowledgeable of the septic system, and explained to us the importance of maintaining the system and why. Been using soucy for years and will continue to do so, for their great service.
Paul M.I give 1 star because I can't give 0 stars.
I had an appointment with Soucy for my first septic system pump out on my new house in Windham. Called made the appointment, they said they could be out the next day and they gave a 4 hour window. Called back morning of the appointment to narrow down the time frame they told me someone would be there in 30-60 min. 2 hours later no one showed up and when I called them back they said they had issues with their equipment and wouldn't be there for another hour and a half at least
I asked why they hadn't called me to inform me that they would miss their commitment, their response was not satisfactory, they offered a coupon.
I missed work to meet them, I don't want a coupon, I want my septic pumped.
I know this is a septic service pump out. But a phone call from the dispatcher is not a big deal to ask for when you miss your commitment
We've used Soucy's Sewer for about 7 years now. The people on the phone are friendly and make it easy to set up appointment. The Drivers we had were on time and professional. They provided great info to help us better maintain the life of our septic and the prices were affordable.
Storm G.We contacted Soucy's to do our septic maintenance. The previous owners of our home were customers of them (pre-October 2013). A gentleman named Mark arrived promptly and drained the system in its entirety. He noted the system operating satisfactory but recommended we not go as long between the maintenance schedule. The system was at full capacity and quite due. We appreciated his observation and professionalism. I asked about the newness and cleanliness of his truck and he said, ""It's important to project a good image and provide the service our customers expect."" I was thinking wow. He said this happens to be the oldest in our fleet too. This was really good service by someone that not only likes what they do -- they like where they work. The only critique would be newer uniforms needed. The importance of valuing the employees outer appearance is direct reflection of employers valuation of them. Overall - this company gets an excellent rating in all categories.
Although the truck is on the street, you can see clearly that the 1000 gallons of waste was pouring on my lawn with no way to stop it. This went on for over a half hour until the fire department was able to place a boom in the valve. Even if it was a manufacturer's defect as claimed, if there were a boom in the truck, it could have been used to either stop or at least slow down the spill while the truck was pumped out.
Interestingly, this same truck was spotted broken down just the week prior on the side of another road for over two hours. I find it hard to believe it could have passed any ligitimate inspection. That valve didn't just randomly break. As the driver said, it had been broken for years and finally let go.
Lastly, the owner never once said he was sorry, and as far as coming back that day to clean it up, that's ridiculous. A gallon of bleach spread over a thousand gallons of sewerage did nothing. In fact, the fire lieutenant had to tell an alternate driver for Soucy Septic to finish pumping my tank and vacuum up the clumps of waste that were on my upper lawn as the tank cover was left open with waste still in it and on my upper lawn. I had to call back because even after he said he.had covered it, he did not.
Stay away! The system he designed was not acceptable to the town. He lost my plot plan. He didn't return phone calls. I sued him and won. He never paid and moved his business to NH.
