Miguel was responsive and prompt. He kept me informed about his arrival time as he moved from one job to the next.
He replaced the connecting my refrigerator water feed to the house water line. There were some difficulties with the replacement part but he handled the challenge easily.
He is both friendly and professional. Plus he lives nearby for future calls. And his price was very reasonable.

Holy Cow, Miguel is the best! We had a serious toilet flood and things were backing up into the bathtub. The plumbers we called last night were a disaster and left without fixing it. They were supposed to return today and never showed. We called Miguel and he was here in 15 minutes. The other guys said they would have to remove the toilet and drain out the tub into the bathroom. Miguel said he didn't want to make a mess and managed to do the whole job from the outside and the roof. He was pretty fast, too. He actually came in 50 bucks UNDER his quote. When does that ever happen? He was clean, polite, and very careful not to let our sneaky cat out. He also warranties his work for thirty days. We will definitely keep his number in our phones now!

Omar & his side kick really helped me out of a tight spot yesterday! I have that silly ""home warrant"" that sends out really ""sketchy"" repair people. I thankfully knew that the plumber they sent was not truthful..I wanted a second opinion & found Hector from All Star Plumbing on my ""Nextdoor"" neighborhood news app. He was too busy to help me but referred me to Omar. They fixed me up for 1/2 the price the Bear Plumbing wanted to do the job..They were GREAT! I will not renew my ""American Home Shield"" plan & I am thankful to find a good honest plumber!

I've had Miguel and his crew for two projects and have been more than satisfied.

First project: A leak in the back yard. Miguel worked with the landscaper (who was installing a new sprinkler system) to run a new line to the new hub and cap the old line. Fast, efficient responsive and reasonable.

Second project: Found out the old sewer pipes were ""weeping"" (and yes, that means what you think it means). His quote to replace all the horizontals was below another contactor's quote. I have to admit I still thought it was high but weeping doesn't work. He showed up with his lead, Omar, and their crew Monday and for four days they worked in a crawl space two feet tall cutting out the old cast iron pipes, passing them over and under the heat ducts, up through the kitchen where they had covered the floor in resin paper and installed new piping. Each evening they reconnected the system so we didn't have to use the bushes. The last two days also required digging out a trench as the pipe goes underground down towards the street line. On Friday, they connected to the outside line, snaked a camera down to the street to make sure there was no obstruction, put in a clean out and cleaned up the basement.

The whole team busted their butts, were very professional and personable and by the end of the day, covered in sweat, dirt and iron filings.

Overall, a great job and worth every penny.

I wanted to update my old review. It's been about two years since we were referred to Miguel and our relationship with our plumber is still going strong. I'm glad we initially hired another local plumber the very first time, because as new home owners it gave us someone to compare with in terms of: quality of work, affordability, and courtesy/personality. Since my first review, we hired Miguel multiple times to snake the main line due to root intrusion (highland park and hills cause this quite often) with and without camera, snaking/replacing kitchen drains, toilet repair, laundry value replacement, and water pressure issues around the house. I have to mention that he snaked our mainline well that we have been able to put off hydro-jet for a couple of years but know that we may still need it in the future.

If you're looking for a great all around plumber, Miguel's your guy. I almost want to keep him to ourselves because he's a busy in demand guy already, but he deserves the praise no doubt.

House sitting for a friend, a broken pipe caused a leak that left us without running water for 2 days. After getting the absolute runaround from home owners insurance and their recommended plumbers I found Miguel via yelp. I called him up and within a few hours came to the house and fixed it completely! What else could you want? Job well done!!!

We contacted Miguel based on the referral of a contractor that did work for my mom and so glad we did. We used him twice, once to clean out the main line and once to clear the clog and nasty sludge in the kitchen sink. As much as I hate spending money to upkeep our old house, Miguel's prices were reasonable and beat competitor rates. I work in property management and could've easily called one of our guys over, but there are some things where hiring an experienced licensed plumber is important. I've hired other plumbers in the past, but beyond Miguel's reasonable prices is his great personality. Hiring a vendor for your home is like making a lifetime friend. You need to click with the person and trust in their abilities.

Miguel is super courteous. He left his shoes at the door, which I appreciate because hardwood floors are so hard to keep smudge free. He even cleaned up after himself and put everything back under the sink when he was done.

Another thing is that eventually we'll need to replace our sewer line. In the meantime, we've been recommended to pressure wash the line even by our previous plumber. I brought this up to Miguel and no joke his quote was half of what the other guy quoted.

If you're looking around for a trusty friendly plumber, make sure you give Miguel a call. You won't regret it.

Miguel is the best. We live in Hawaii but own a rental in Pasadena. Miguel gives prompt and reasonable service and sends us a bill so our tenants don't have to pay out of their pocket. As we say in Hawaii, he has the ""Aloha"" spirit. Miguel, you're the best!

If you're looking for a decent, hard working, honest and reasonably priced plumber... SOS is IT.

Miguel is my FIRST and ONLY call. So far, I've had nothing major (thank God) most;y snaking and leaks. Miguel and his partner Omar go above and beyond. Their work ethic is beyond reproach, they are punctual and have been dead on with their quotes.

They only work on referral so consider this your reference. ;)
