DO NOT USE SOOTS PLUMBING! The job they did was a one day job which took 5 days. They would call and say what time they would arrive and would either arrive hours later or not at all. Randy Soots would not provide a written estimate or a final paper bill. He would leave his assistant here for an hour at a time with nothing to do. He said he was licensed to install an outlet and it turns out that it was NOT grounded. He then asked for more money for his assistant's labor. When i refused to pay the additional two hours HE SABOTAGED HIS WORK so that we then had a flood in our crawl space (instead of a working sump pump). DO NOT USE HIM!

They must not need the work. Very unresponsive and unreliable. I would not recommend them.

Soots came out to service a oil furnace before Thanksgiving, after failed attempts he said I needed a new boiler. I gave him $3000 to purchase and install asap. After several days and failed appointments to show up I called another furnace technician. They cleaned and repaired existing furnace in a few hours and still working 6 months later. Soots refused to return the money. After complaints to State Attorney General, Professional License Commission and Delaware Courts, he agreed to payback the $3,000. He reneged. Delaware Justice of Peace Court issued a judgment. Delaware License Commission sent a letter to cease and desist from unlicensed activity. He isn't a licensed professional. Run!

Randy has been our family Plumber/ Heating go to person for over 30 years. He is on time, on budget. We are fortunate to have such a trusted resource available to us at our family home in Lewes and I cannot say enough good things about him
