In 1999, David came to Virginia from Arkansas. He started in sales at a local supply company and was later promoted to lead a service department. In 2013, he decided to establish his own business, Solutions Mechanical, Inc., primarily to address the frustrations he frequently heard from customers. His goal was to build a plumbing and HVAC company that stood apart from the rest. He launched with an office in his basement and worked independently with a toolbox from his wife’s car. With hard work, SMI has transformed into a successful business with several offices catering to the Valley and Northern Virginia. David resides in Waynesboro with his wife and two children, is dedicated to the community, and actively participates in his church and the local Boy Scouts.
