I've had to call to check on the status of my repair three times over seven days. During my third call, the owners wife said she couldn't tell me when they would be out and even more disturbing, she couldn't say when she would be able to say. She proceeded to refer to my raising my voice as """"disgusting"""" and """"low class"""". """"Disgusting"""" is how I would describe my two kitchen sinks in my one year old, 11,000 sq. foot home because the kitchen faucets installed by Soltys Plumbing don't have enough water flowing through them to adequately rinse the sinks out, rinse dishes, or fill pots, despite all too polite previous pleas they do something sooner rather than later, given the major inconvenience. The homes water booster pump, also installed by Soltys Plumbing, began malfunctioning and intermittently fails to shut off, resulting in the pump running nonstop. Water trapped in the pump is heated, which results in hot water flowing into cold water faucets when they are turned on. It's unknown if this hot water flows into the toilets, the homes water filtration system and the icemakers. Two of the new water saving toilets installed by Soltys Plumbing have an audible water trickle 24 hours a day, despite two attempts to fix them. Perhaps the trickle is as a result of a hot water recirculating zone valve, also installed by Soltys Plumbing, that at one point had hot water flowing though cold water pipes. Excuse my raising my voice. I guess my having to repeatedly call, run up and down three floors to shut a booster pump on and off multiple times a day, brush my teeth with hot water, have my toilets trickle, have no pressure in my kitchen sinks, possibly have the warrantees or life of my appliances voided and having no status as to the fix, combined with the attitude I've gotten all three times I've called, caused my agitation. As a former business owner that had over 500 customers, I can say with all certainty no one would ever be referred to in the context of """"disgusting"""" and """"low class"""" when checking on the status of their service or order. I have used Soltys plumbing for years for big projects. They always had very professional and talented plumbers. No longer the case. Had 1 of their plumbers come because needed new flapper and knobs to tub leaking. Guy came, couldn't turn off water cause valve broken. Said city had to fix their water shut off. Did nothing. Charged $125. I complained to owner who was very defensive and said he assessed the situation and ordered parts. Still haven't heard back a week later. I called another plumber who was able to replace valve to shut of main water, opened knobs, went to supply store, returned and fixed everything the same day. Soltys is not the company they once were. Hugely incompetent and rude. Will NEVER use them again. Too many qualified companies in the area.

I am a general contractor from the Deerfield beach area doing a plumbing job in Delray. My job was at High Point Atlantic Avenue and I drove by this plumbing supply store and I thought I would do my business locally with a small guy instead of going to the Home Depot. I simply walked in and asked the girl working the store for some tinning flux. Not only did the girl not know what flux was but she said the owner was somewhere in the store. After couple awkward moments of her not getting the owner I simply asked her could you get the owner so I could purchase some tinning flux. Not only was this lady not helpful but I find it funny that anyone in the plumbing industry does not know what fluxes for soldering copper pipes. But it was her failure to even attempt to get the owner or someone that could help us for a simple three dollar product which you know is essential for plumbing. So I had to turn around left the store and discussed and drove 2 miles out of the way to the Home Depot to simply buy some flux for soldering. As a professional I give this plumbing outfit two thumbs down.

Dealing with the woman who answers the phone at Solty's is a nightmare! She has an angry attitude and seems to do everything in her power to make the call miserable and difficult. Make sure you get a price before the work is done because they are also very high priced. I would not recommend this company at all if you want pleasant customer service.
