SoCal Water provided and installed my original water softener and RO system back in 2015. Everything worked great for years. So much so, that when we moved earlier this year I brought the softener with us and called up Scott to install it again in the new house.

For this recent installation, we needed a new RO system, and we also decided to get the whole house carbon filter. Given how the property was older, the regulator/shutoff was over near the front door of the property, rather than in the garage. Not a problem for Scott. He installed a load of extra piping to route the water flow through to the garage, and hid it expertly under the sill of my front windows. You can't tell it's there.

While he was running the pipes, he even noticed some ugly looking electrical wiring (for lighting and sprinkler valves) that was routed round the front of the garage. He kindly mentioned it to me and offered to route the cabling through the same hole he was cutting in the garage drywall for the piping.

All the wiring runs for the softener & filter power are straight and tidy, and the same is true for the drainage lines which have to run from the front of our garage all the way to the back corner.

Couldn't be happier with Scott's professional installation services. Their prices are fair, their products are fantastic, and the work done is on point.

Also... Nancy who handles scheduling in their office was really pleasant. She's also the same person who scheduled our 2015 appointment, so she's been there at least 6 years. Must tell you something about how they treat their employees, because she's lasted a long time and knows what she's talking about.

SoCal Water installed a water softener/chloramine tank and a R/O system when I repiped my home in 2018. The owner and the installer (Pablo) were very professional. I've had this system for two years and everything works great. I no longer have to buy bottled water, wipe down the sliding glass doors in my shower or put too much effort in removing water spots, because there are virtually none. I recommended SoCal Water to two of my coworkers and they love the system. I'm in the process of moving and will be calling them for my next home very shortly.

Rolando with So Cal Water is sent to my house to check an RO system that is leaking. Instead, he sends me photos of my whole house Hague System and tells me his ""boss"" said no parts available and that I need to purchase a new system (sends photo of one in his truck for $2500). I know there is an issue because I have a 25 year warranty on my Hague system. After a few text messages and a phone call to Hague along with sending the photos, I am told that So Cal Water is not a Hague dealer and that of course there are available parts. Another Hague dealer came the next day, was able to fix both my RO system and replace the brine valve on the whole house system. All in for under $200.00. Unbelievably shady situation. I have used for years for yearly maintenance calls so I am hopeful it was just a bad apple employee. I do think owner should have told me he was no longer a Hague Dealer.

Yup, if you're looking for a plumber, this is the one you want to use. If you're somewhat OCD like me, you'll appreciate Scott's work. He will leave the cords level and straight. If he installs fixtures for u, he will measure before cutting and installing so they are equal and look balanced.

Nothing more irritating than a cord or fixture which is not aligned just right. These guys won't do a Mickey Mouse job on the work. Sorry, Disney, no offense... Ask for Scott, I'm sure he's a bit more OCD than you are and will make things great!

Have been researching and called around for water softener installation help.
Easy and quick turnaround for site visit for a FREE quote. Some companies charge to come out and give a quote.
Scott, the owner answered all my questions gave me a simple quote for a unit and installation. Did not pitch for any additional equipment or services not needed.
This company carriez Pentair Fleck as their main unit. It worked out for me since that's the brand I wanted, but not many carry it locally.
Originally, I thought about purchasing my own unit online and having a company install, but Scott made it so convenient for me to go with his company for both unit purchase and installation.
It may have been a little cheaper to buy my own and hire installer but, having a local company that can warranty the unit, parts, and same company warranty the labor... I am paying for that peace of mind.
During the installation it was evident that Scott is an expert at installing this Pentair Fleck unit. He was meticulous and precise with piping and wiring.
There was a little issue... Couple of old o rings from regulators was cracked during installation and I discovered minor sipping days after installation. Scott personally came out and replaced those.
All his visits(quote, install, repair) were always on time. He alsways provided straight forward answers. He carries a good product and very confident in his product and service.

We went with So Cal Water because we wanted to use Fleck. Scott (the owner) was nice and reasonable with his estimate. He came out to install the softener and R/O at our house and the installation was clean. Overall we're happy with the results of the water and how everything came out.

We had an in-home consult (not by So Cal Water) for a whole house water treatment system (softener, carbon filter, and reverse osmosis drinking water) and were sold on the system but after spending some time online after the sales call started to realize that the system we were being sold was a bit over-priced. Came across So Cal Water during our research and they were able to provide the same type of whole house system for a much more reasonable price. We were able to quickly set up an installation appointment for the next day and Danny arrived (within the promised time window) to do the install. Danny was friendly, professional, and efficient and was able to complete the install in about 5 hours.

Very glad we finally got a water softener installed, and I'd like to recommend SoCalWater. I found them via their reviews on Yelp (search for their home office - Murietta- same guys but 50+ reviews there). I interviewed 2 other companies. I went with SoCal (Scott) because he's got contractors licenses in plumbing and water treatment- his own people do installs- and because he was 20% cheaper (for softening alone) than the next lowest- and I'm very glad we did. Glasses from the dishwasher are crystal- but more importantly- hard water isn't ruining faucets and appliances anymore. We scheduled a followup on a Monday and his guys were out Tuesday (instead of 3 weeks out). Highly recommend.
