Outstanding! Alex and his fantastic team came out to unclog our drains. He discovered the cast iron pipes were in desperate need of descaling due to the age of our home. (59 years). What a great experience! Alex was so professional so was his co-worker. We had a leak, but could not determine where it was... So we contacted Alex and wow! This guy is a flake. Scheduled to come for a repair twice. Each time I had to coordinate with my tenant so they could give access since the tenant has a dog.

Each time, without contacting me to say he needed to reschedule he didn't show up. Twice. Over two days.

I'm not sure why I kept trying to work with him, other than I'd tried him once in the past. Even then I wasn't impressed by anything in particular that he did.

As a small business owner myself I couldn't imagine running my business this way.

I can't imagine that he gets many repeat customers.

DO NOT USE THIS PLUMBER.

There are so many other options it doesn't make sense to waste your time on flakes.

Honestly, I've been amazed by our experience so far. Alex arrived on time, spent far more time than expected, thoroughly and patiently inspecting, diagnosing, and explaining the problems we've had with our tankless water heater. He gave very reasonable quotes for 3 separate scenarios AND got us up and running, so we're not without hot water until the replacement can be installed. He unlocked the temperature sensor - we'd been told it couldn't go over 120 defrees(F), cut out a (improperly installed) valve that was exacerbating the problems - spending at least an hour carefully going over and through every aspect of the situation. AND he even came back a second time to explain everything a second time for the homeowner...and didn't charge us a dime! Instead of the nightmares we've had before and were expecting again, Alex and his assistant were a God Send. We are definitely going with them again! Timely, professional, courteous, knowledgeable, and patient! Highly recommend!

Jose called me back right away this morning after I left a message saying we had no hot water. It wasn't long before Alex came. We ended up needing a new hot water heater. It was installed fast. Alex is very nice and inspires confidence.
This wasn't the first time I've called them. They've done two other jobs for us. One was a plumbing job and the other was to replace part of a gas line. Both were handled fast.
Jose and Alex are the only plumbers I will ever call now that I was lucky enough to find them.

So Cal Plumbing was great! They responded within 5 min to my plea for help and were at my door within the hour. They cleared the clog within a few minutes and went the extra mile to scope the main sewer line for potential future problems (no charge). Jose explained everything fully gave recommendations on actions to take if we have any further issues. They were clean, respectful and professional! We will not hesitate to use them again when needed.

I had water heaters that needed to have the burners cleaned. Alex and team were able to come out today and were able to look at our water heaters and offer options. They were respectful of our budget and came up with a plan so that we can clean them now and plan for other scenarios. Their pricing was very fair and I didn't feel like we were being gouged.
