The heater in our attic died after 20 years. It was the middle of winter and working from home due to Covid the house was freezing. So Cal Plumbing Heating & Air Conditioning saved my heater the last time it stopped working and their service had been fast, professional, and inexpensive--so I called them again. Sadly, this time no simple repair was possible, the heat exchanger was cracked, and the boards fried after a water leak. We needed a new furnace. With the supply chain issues, I expected the worst, but less than a week later they had the new heater in stock and came to install it! As before, the workers were all friendly and professional, even vacuuming up the floor after working in the attic. When it turned out the new heater was too large for our attic entrance there were no ""extra charges"" - they simply removed the stairs, hoisted it up, and replaced the staircase holding to our original price agreement. They even returned a week after the job was done at my request to adjust the dampers so our home heated more evenly at no extra charge. So Cal Plumbing Heating & Air Conditioning is a professional and courteous company, they respond promptly, and they provide excellent and reliable service with no hidden charges. I wish my experience with every repair company was this good. Strongly Recommended.

So Cal was able to get our furnace up and running before the holidays! The technician was professional, friendly and arrived in a timely manner. He was thorough, gave and explanation of what the problem was, and provided 2 estimates. Our (VERY old) floor heater needed some maintenance and cleaning, which required going into a small crawl space under our house. Jonathan came out and inspected the furnace from above and below. Terrifyingly, he found a tiny gas leak at the juncture of our gas line to the furnace. He fixed us right up, sealed the leak, cleaned our furnace from above and below, and even found a way to relight our ridiculously inaccessible pilot light. He was a total pro, and the nicest guy on top of all that. Would very highly recommend him and the SoCal team!
