From my phone call to the service I received for my plumbing disaster, So CA plumbing came to my rescue and saved this damsel in distress! After relentless effort in trying to unclog my bathtub drain, my coworker, recommended I call So CA plumbing. I spoke with Allison, service coordinator for So. Ca plumbing. She was so pleasant to speak to and eased my concerns for my bathtub drain. She provided excellent customer service and gave me a window of when my technician would arrive. My plumbing technician, Demario arrived within 30 minutes. Demario snaked my bathtub drain and quickly unclogged the drain. Demario was very professional and even provided plumbing tips to help in preventing this plumbing mishap. I want to say ""Thank you!!!"" to Allison, Demario and So CA plumbing for providing professional service, being reliable and honest. I would highly recommend So CA Plumbing Heating & Air Conditioning to everyone!

I had Tim check out my ac unit. It is a wireless thermostat unit with dual zoning.

Things that he pointed out
1. Ac unit needed chemical cleaning $250
2. Motherboard is malfunction (was diagnosed by another company as well) ~400$
3. New thermostats ~250?
4. Zoning damper 400 ea x2

Several other things that they wanted to charge on the invoice.

Few issues I have with this
1. I believe repairing the motherboard is essential before buying the damper. Tim makes the assumptions that the campers are broken, and therefore should be replaced. However, I believe they may not be broken yet, and it is simply a motherboard issue.
2. I requested Tim to send me the invoice for me to review and consider and I never received them.

I am certainly quite skeptical about their method. I question if they consider putting customers first by saving them money by doing proper error tests before ruling out that a product or part is completely broken.

I appreciate imperial evidence that can't be argued or denied -- ""it is broken, because we have tested a, b, c. Therefore, you must buy this new part."" Okay, deal. No problem.

But if you're telling me to spend 900$ on dampers that aren't guaranteed to be broken, you're making a huge assumption that can cost me a lot of excess money. I don't appreciate this.

I hope this review was clear and fair.

Tim was a very nice guy and was professionalism through my whole experience with him, however I was concerned about the way he put together the invoice.

Excellent company. These guys replaced my condenser and performed minor upgrades to the air handler on my central air as well as replacing the ductwork with new insulated, flex ducting. They were on time for each stage of the job, fast, friendly and cleaned up nicely when they were done. You really can't go wrong with them. The cost was reasonable as well.

We had Demario come out to give us a quote on a full a/c install. He took a look at our existing forced-air heating system and said it was installed oddly and recommended replacement of that as well. He wasn't the first person to say that so we agreed to do it all at the same time. He gave us a quote after his inspection to replace the heating system + install a/c system. His knowledge and honest recommendation was great so we went with So Cal Plumbing despite having several other quotes that were similar or less in cost. Alison called us and scheduled us quickly over the weekend and Demario and Edgar came and worked almost 10 hours the first day and finished the job on Day 2. The completion was done just in time for the upcoming heat wave--yippee! Demario and Edgar were extremely professional, knowledgeable, kept the house and area clean, and were really considerate of the fact that we had little ones running around (regarding tools and loose screws). Their workmanship is great and the system is cleanly installed, including the electrical along the side of the house. Thanks for the great work!

These are GREAT. Everybody at the office was professional and Demario was efficient, clean, straightforward, and punctual. The work was even completed AHEAD OF TIME. These guys worked hard and did a great job. Don't think twice!

It all started with a phone call to me. The offer was for a service/inspection of a gas heater that I had installed a couple of years ago to replace one that was over 20 years old. I said OK and an appointment was made.

The person showed up when promised and did the inspection. Then he told me that I needed to replace the ducting in the attic as it had collapsed and was coming apart. I thought oh oh here it comes. I asked for a price and then felt like I was a fish on the hook. I had my doubts but then he showed me the ducting and pipes and I could tell he was telling me the truth. We set an appointment for the following week. During the week I started to have my doubts again but decided to see how it went.

The day of the work came and two workers and the origional person showed up on time. They covered my carpets with drop cloths and plastic and then brought in their tools and parts. They went straight to work and continued until they were done. No ""extra"" conversation, no @$$#@!3, just work. They were done and cleaned up earlier than I expected and when we started the furnace the difference was immediate. You could feel more air coming from the vents and before they closed the attic I looked at their work. Obvious these people know what they are doing.

Before they left I asked for a couple of cards so I could give them to my neighbors as I know they will need this service before too long.

Yelp once again comes to the rescue. We needed (way overdue) maintenance on our 2 mini split ac units. Demario was on time, friendly, professional and efficient. He also inspected our furnace. He gave me lots of tips on how often to clean/change filters. They were pretty disgusting. Highly recommend and will be having them come out on a yearly basis as recommended.

Called So Cal Plumbing for my wall heater. From the call to the service they were prompt courteous and very professional. Demario came out in the time frame stated and replaced the thermostat and thermocouple. He was very detailed in his work and left everything up and running. GREAT SERVICE! Another company I got a quote from tried to scam me and tell me that my motor was broken in my heater, but luckily I called them and got the BEST SERVICE EVER! They came out and fixed it in less than an hour! Very affordable as well! I was shocked at how low the bill was! VERY PLEASED
