My upstairs unit was installed by Snellville Heating and Air three years ago when my home was being built. The unit was manufactured by Lennox and has a 5 year parts warranty. The unit had a piece that broke off that was under warranty and Snellville did not back up the warranty by Lennox and required a 263.00 labor cost to repair it along with a 78.00 initial service call. When I called and spoke with Olivia she was extremely rude and offered a 50.00 break off of the 263.00. This is a family owned business that was not willing to stand behind what they sell and absorb the cost of the labor. If this had happened with a car the dealership always absorbs the labor. If I had any other choice I would not use them to service my unit. Unfortunately, they sold it, installed it and now does not stand behind it. I unfortunately could never recommend this company. This is the first negative review that I have ever felt inclined to write so you can only imagine how I was treated. Their cost are exorbitant and are not comparable with other companies. Checked in with other companies and every one that I checked with provided a MINIMUM of 5 year parts and labor for their units they install. Run, don't walk, away from this company.

Note: I did not use Snellville Heating & Air for our repair. This review is based off of our price quotes. We called a few companies for price quotes and were shocked by Snellville's prices. I understand that they may have a long history and can justify the prices, but with the economy the way it is, there's no way we can use their services if another company can beat their prices by half. They charge $78 just to come out and look at the issue. If they determine work needs to be done, the fee goes down to $39. But in addition to that fee, they still tack on labor charges. Freon costs $50 for the first pound and $45 for each additional pound. The company we went with charged half that amount and got the repair done within an hour. Maybe Snellville is the best in the business, but not worth double my money for the same service.

Our entire HVAC system needed to be replaced and we were having a hard time finding a reliable, honest, reasonably-priced company to come out and fix it. We saw the billboard on 316 for Snellville Heating and Air and decided to give it a go. Joe came by about thirty minutes after the initial phone call, and you could tell right away this was a man who knew what he was doing. He checked everything out and then, the first company to do so, sat down with us to go over everything in detail. He quoted us the best price we'd received and didn't once try to upsell us. He showed us all the certifications that their workers have which put our mind at ease. A week later (and only that long because we weren't home the other days) we had an entirely new HVAC system installed by two hardworking guys. I will say the monthly financing price we got was not ideal for us. I'm not naive, but the whole reason we called in the first place was the monthly financing offer of $50 on the billboard. So that was a bit disappointing, but the overall cost was the lowest quote we'd received so we went with it. Plus, we have ten year warranty on the new system, and a year's servicing. Not to mention the security of knowing we have an honest company working this for us. We really appreciated the service we received after almost two months of a broken HVAC system and companies trying to scam us. I recommend Snellville Heating and Air to anyone looking.

this company has the worst customer service. Once they install your unit, they're done!

I don't know what happened to this company. I used them for 6 years with no issues. They've added plumbing and now duct cleaning, and the whole vibe has changed. I used a duct company that they recommended --before they started doing ducts--and it seems that company damaged a part of the duct work. My regular tech advised me to get the ductwork looked at, and the man that came out was not only rude, but also insisted that my system was crap and needed to be replaced. He said the system, that my tech for 6 years said was great, looked like joe beer can installed it. He wanted me to replace all duct work, at $2800. Both he and the tech told me there was a piece of the duct that had fallen off, but neither bothered to even just set it back into place to avoid me pumping heat/air into the crawlspace. I'd recently tried their plumbing services, and when the two techs came out, one bad mouthed the other repeatedly. I got a supervisor out, and ultimately he agreed to do some repairs, and also I got the duct cleaning company back out. I'd told the supervisor that I felt uncomfortable with the company, that it felt like the goal was to get money, and upsell rather than provide the great service I'd had for years. I told him about the team bad mouthing each other and that it felt like my tech this year had done something to my system. In the course of this conversation, he made disparaging comments about the tech. That does nothing for my confidence. The end result, unfortunately, is that I have lost the trust I used to have for this company. It's sad, because I'd used them exclusively since I moved to this side of town. But there is no way I'd be comfortable having them in my house again. I liked them so much I'd purchased a three year contract, and will probably have to eat the last bit of it. I don't know if the company has changed management, or is struggling in some way..but it now feels like a pushy company trying to get more $$ than the company I loved 6 years ago that provided excellent customer service.

We were having an issue with our HVAC not blowing cold air. A different HVAC company came to our house to service the unit, allegedly fixed it, but did not. I called Snellville heating and air the same day that I realize our problem was not fixed and they got me on the schedule for the next day. Wayne came to my house, identified the issue quickly and resolved the problem. He was honest, professional and did not try to take advantage of the situation. If all of the technicians are like Wayne, then I highly recommend this company!

I would not recommend Snellville Heating and Air, we had a new A.C.unit installed in April, 2021 and that was a complete mess that they still have not recovered from. Since that time they've been out 4-5 times to """"fix"""" the unit and it will still not cool the house. Every time they send a tech we get new information and just last week they had to replace a coil with a leak. I will say that I do appreciate the calls from David (Owner I think) but would prefer a unit that actually works and cools our home.

In April 2017, my air conditioner went out and I left messages for 5 different companies and the only one I received a phone call back was from Snellville Heating, Air and Plumbing. They came out to check and diagnosed it and it was clear that the unit was not worth repairing. They had a special going for air and heating, so I decided just to purchase a whole new unit. I was also in need of a hot water heater, so I asked what the total would be for all of it and was told $7,900.00. I agreed to go ahead and have all of it done. They install was great, the guys were very friendly and professional. They also let me know that they are now doing the Duct Sealing services. At the time I needed to wait on that. On January 2018, I had them come out and do the duct sealing and paid $1,750.00. Then in May 2018, my air was not working and made a service call. The technician came out and found a fuse was blown and he replaced it. I thought that would be under the warranty but found out the service call was not. I wrote a check for $59.00 for the service call. The check was returned by my bank to them and they never notified me about it. However, when I looked at my account they processed the check a total of 5 times which is $36.00 each time and in total was $180.00 for a $59.00 check. Now my information has been sent to Check Systems. I have called 2 times asking the owner to call me and to this day he has not. I am not happy with them and would not recommend them because the person I talked to (Beth) was not nice. Customer service in the office is very poor.

As an owner of multiple rental properties for 35 years, I've had numerous good and bad experiences throughout metro-Atlanta with electricians, plummers, etc. A business owner and friend of mine recommended Snellville Heating & Air. I can only speak for my own, first time experience with this company. It was one of the good ones. I've saved their number in my cell phone for the next time.
