Snappy Services - Electric, Plumbing, Heating & Air
Company Overview
At Snappy Services - Electric, Plumbing, Heating & Air, we are a local Marietta, GA business committed to making a difference. Living and working in your community, our technicians and installers guarantee prompt and dependable service. With an A+ rating from the Better Business Bureau, we aim to establish a local presence characterized by excellent customer service, qualified technicians, and superior products. From plumbing and electrical repairs to air duct sealing and home energy audits, we offer services that cater to your entire home. Over the years, we have expanded our core services to better address the needs and desires of our customers.
We opened our doors in 2005. For many years, we were under the ownership of an out-of-state company that influenced our pricing and operations. While they helped us stay current with technology, the remote relationship left us feeling disconnected from our local community and clients.
I am Adam Bunyard, the current general manager and one of the original team members since 2005, and I recently purchased the company with my wife. Although we had a solid team and structure in place, we saw the importance of establishing a stronger local presence and adaptable pricing. We will ensure that all existing warranties are honored, and our customers will notice improved service during this transition.
As we joined Yelp in July 2017, we would greatly appreciate the chance to earn your business!

Update to my comment on 7/11/2016. It is May 2018 and I was just notified that Snappy responded. I am not sure what the company who eventually ended up repairing my unit did, but I can tell you that I have not had a problem with the unit in the two years that it was repaired. Snappy offered to return my fee of $69 (there was no limitation on this) and I will take them up on this offer. Please contact me at chesyaburke@gmail.com. I will return to edit and reevaluate the review when and if I am ever refunded.

We have used Snappy several times in the past and they have always been very helpful and have done good work. In October we called Snappy to have a furnace installed. The furnace is located in the Attic; it couldn't fit so the installers had to remove the molding from around the attic door so the new furnace could fit. The installers installed the furnace properly and was very courteous and helpful before they left the house. Soon after they left we noticed the poor job the installers did to reattach the molding around the door of the attic. We called Snappy back and complained, they indicated they would have someone come back out and fix the problem immediately. Sometime later someone from Snappy came, but he could not fix the problem himself. When he called the problem in to the home office they advised him they would contact a vendor to come out to install the molding properly. My last call was today, January 5, 2018. The furnace was installed in October and we have been calling Snappy and their vendor several times and nobody has ever come to help us. The lady (Sherry) at Snappy's home office is just plain rude and she doesn't care. I'm actually ashamed of myself to have put up with such unprofessionalism by someone with no tact, rudeness and has undesirable nasty disposition; she shouldn't be in the job she is in. She has things to me like """"What do you expect me to do about it"""" """"It is not us it's the vendor you need to complain to!"""" """"I'm not given you the owner's phone number; you don't deserve it!"""" and not to mention she hung up on me in December. I called today to let her know one last time the vendor that was supposed to come to the house never showed up; after he said he would be right over after his last job; and her response was """"What do you expect me to do about it"""" and then she attempted to give me the number of the Vendor I already had to rush me off of the phone. When I told her I wasn't going to call him again she said """"What is the purpose of your call? I'm not only tired, but disappointed we have been treated so poorly after such great service we received in the past. I have nothing more to say. John

They may be very reliable and competent in all fields of work but with fees of $49.00 per trade estimate, the price just to get quote can add up. I elected to go with firm that offers free estimates.

My carpet was wet the leak they said it was coming from the master bathroom it was suppose to be fixed this was on a Saturday then they came out Monday to dry the wet carpet and now on Tuesday it's soaking wet again like the leak was never fixed. There is nothing snappy about there service this is who you call if you DO NOT want your problem fixed. I talked to Stacey she had a smart mouth the earliest they come out is 8am the latest is 4pm. So that would require me to leave work early or go in for work late but if they would have fixed the problem in the first place I wouldn't have the same problem

Adam is a lying piece of garbage. Snappy Electrical tried to scam me out of thousands telling me that I needed work I didn't need. I hired another company that did nothing Snappy Electric said I needed to do (the other company did the repairs and passed inspection all for less than a grand). I called my insurance company because Snappy first told me that I needed thousands in work (lies). After receiving their 6 thousand plus quote saying my wiring could not be repaired because of code, I opened an insurance claim. I asked $1500 be taken from the electrician, Eddie who lied to me about code and from Adam for not telling me what codes required me to do all the repairs on their quote and because my insurance premiums will go up because I opened a claim because they lied to me. Adam bends the truth and leaves out part of the story. Am I surprised he would say this. NO, not at all. I wrote the internet reviews before I requested the $1500. I do appreciate the $1500 given to Wounded Warriors. I do not appreciate Adam lying AGAIN.

We have been working with Reggie for over a year now. He is knowledgeable, friendly, and provides exceptional customer service!!

Sorry for the delay. I used this Company Last month Plumbing Technician Jon C. very respectful young man. Professional and Knowledgeable of his work.

They charged a ridiculous price, busted faucet by over tightening the top and damaged my travertine tile by dropping a tool. Tech denied doing it but it was not damaged prior. Then when they came out to replace the faucet they damaged, plumber twisted the water supply lines. It took 6 trips, time off work for me, just to get it fixed. They had the nerve to send the same idiot plumber out each time. Rub salt in that would please. Thanks for reading my post.

Update. I had a licensed electrician with 15 years plus experience do the work. He completed all of the work in about an hour and a half, did very high quality work, and charged me less than half of what Snappy quoted.

Within the first two weeks of moving in to our historic home it was very clear we needed an energy assessment completed. I found Snappy through Yelp and called the next day. John Kenney met with us, and immediately we felt at ease with his expertise. He walked us through the testing assessment & made a special trip back to sit down and go over each item that was essential to make our home more energy efficient. I really liked the way he listened, knew we had a budget, and worked very hard to stay within that number, while achieving what we needed for our home. Snappy was at our house for over a week and John was there every step of the way to make sure everything was done to perfection. I would highly recommend asking for John K. to assist in decisions with energy assessment, HVAC, or just the essential sealing of a home. He was awesome! Thank you John!
