I had an emergency ceiling leak problem above the light fixture in our kitchen. A real safety hazard! I called Snappy Rooter be/c of all the rave reviews and five stars I found on Yelp. Turns out, they are extremely busy (today is Tuesday) and they would not be available to come out to fix my ceiling leak until next MONDAY. That's almost one week away! I think not... It's good that they're busy but not very accommodating for people who have true plumbing emergencies. Too bad, a BIG thumbs down for this business.

The first time I called them, a toilet in my house had a small leak, so Snappy rooter came out and fixed it by replacing the ring. They were friendly, courteous and explained what they did and why they did it, so I called them again when I had another problem. This time, it was early March and the sprinkler pipes outside were leaking, so they replaced a pipe connection in the sprinkler system. There was also a pressure problem in the sprinklers, but after they changed the pipe, everything was fixed. Overall, I think they did a great job.

What's not to like? Called Saturday around noon. Problem fixed by dark. Our problem was outside between the house and the sidewalk. Tree roots quickly snaked out without a problem.
There was no access drain, so a hole had to be dug, the pipe exposed and cut, and a ""t"" section put in so the access drain would be above ground level. So, the next time the tree roots are clogging the pipe, access to the pipe will be simple and the snaking cost will be quite low. Total cost for the snaking, digging, pipe cutting, ""t"" pipe install, and filling the hole back up was $500. Maybe it was too much, maybe not. But a friendly plumber on a Saturday afternoon - with explanations along the way was worth it to me.
Oh yeah, he gave me a few options and I choose the most expensive but the best long term solution. I could have spent far fewer dollars had I taken a different option. Options are good!

I am finally writing a long overdue review. Mike, the owner, is amazing! We had a kitchen sink leak for awhile and had other companies come out. Paid them and the problem kept coming back. I read reviews on Yelp about this business and decided to make an appt with them. Mike fixed the problem last year and it has not leaked since then. Mike noticed that we had very low water pressure and figured out that there was a leak outside in the pumps. We called the water company and followed Mike's instructions. They had to break the concrete on the road outside our house, but we have normal water pressure now for a year. Mike did not have to diagnose the latter problem, did not charge us anything extra for his help. Thank you, Mike!

They do the job right and don't overcharge. Harder to pin down on a show up time, but that is often the plumbing business. They are busy because they do good work.

I have beed using Snappy Rooter for the past year and a half. Richard has been so awesome and honest. It sometimes takes a day or so for them to come out to your home, but so worth it. They do a good job at a fair price. The only thing that could make them even better is if they were open on the weekend! :)

First time Yelp mislead me. Snappy did show up on time with 2 technicians
but couldn't find a leak from a second story bathtub. They mucked around for an hour, but two days later, my DH turned the tub on, walked down the stairs an found water escaping from a ceiling light fixture

I love you Yelp, and I love you Snappy Rooter. Yelp comes through again, first I found a great appliance guy, then a great electrician, and now an AWESOME plumber.
I had a pretty easy job, my kitchen sink was plugged. I have learned the hard way that God made me smart, handsome, funny, good with directions, great with kids, and a lion in the sack, but he did NOT make me a plumber. After hours wandering Home Depot, I just end up destroying things.
I give Snappy a call at noon, they are super busy and cant come till the next day. I am a smidge annoyed, but figure they are worth it given their yelp reviews. I have had so many bad experiences with plumbers...the last time I dealt with one, I had totally reconstructed my garbage disposal, sink, and all the lines underneath, I just couldnt get it all to work. Would take someone with skills about 20ish minutes to finish. Bonney wanted over a grand! I told them to leave my house or I was calling the cops. Luckily my neighbor saved me that time, but he has moved, so I needed help.
Anyways, I had to work today, but my mom was home for the guy. He showed up within the two hour window, and of course within 3 minutes the job was done. The guy was funny, fast, and even nice chatting with my 6 year old twins.
So often with skilled trades, you have two choices. Shiny vans, friendly staff, and a price tag that would make Bill Gates cry. Hello Bonney! Or you have Mr. Cheapo Plumber that just got out of prison, will hit on your 15 year old daughter, and dig through your wifes panty drawer for a ""souvenir"" of the visit. Well, now there is a third choice. Snappy Rooter is fast, friendly, reliable, and NOT out to screw you. A drive over the my house and you fix the issue super fast, best $75 I have spent in a long time.
They also understand that small jobs = big jobs. So many trades men are so stupid, oh your job is tiny and not worth my time. Well then jackoff, I wont call you when I have a big job either! None of that with Snappy, they were glad for the work. It is only a matter of time until one of my daugthers puts a barbie or a bag of rocks down the drain, and destroys the entire house's worth of plumbing. Who do you think I will call? Snappy to the resuce!

Can't really say enough good things about Snappy. Had a slow drain, called them this morning, crew showed up less than an hour later (exactly as scheduled), freed the rusty clean-out and snaked the drain in 15 minutes for a very reasonable price.
If you need a plumber, this is the guy!
'Nuff said!

After reading the reviews of the oldest plumbers in Sacramento, and saw how much they tried to upsale you. So i called Snappy! Snappy came out right around the time they told me they would be there. The service call price was very far way better then the last guys quote. Plus they fixed the problem very quickly and offered to instal the new facet for only an extra 15 bucks. Which brought my total with everything to 100 bucks even! Awesome, service and very far pricing! I will for sure call them back for all my plumbing needs and pass their info along to all my neighbors and friends! Thank you Snappy, for staying true to your word and just fixing my kitchen facet leaking problem! You Guys ROCK! Keep it up!
