Same as everyone else. AHS gave me this guy to fix a toilet.
When he called to set an appointment for a Friday from 230-330, he mentioned to me how busy he was and that he was going on vacation for starting Saturday, I should have known he was setting us excuses in advance.
Friday rolls around, 330 pm and no one showed, called him and he said he was ""on his way"", come 530pm, no one showed and he stopped answering his phone.
Immediately called AHS and told them he was a no-show, send me to someone else, now I have to wait another week to get things fixed. Totally unprofessional. Don't accept a job you have no intention to do.

WARNING: DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

My hot water heater went out. I called American Home Shield (our home warranty company), and they sent Darrel with Snappy Plumbing, who I believe owns the company and is the only employee. He came out and went downstairs to where the water heater was. I don't think he knew that I could hear him chatting on the phone about everything but my hot water heater. When he came back upstairs after his phone conversation was over, he said he had ""fixed"" the problem. I asked what he had to do, and he told me he hesitantly told me that he just hit the reset button. I asked what made it trip in the first place, and he said he had no idea, but that he would come back if there were problems. That night, when I attempted to shower, I was once again left with shampoo in my hair and no hot water. This time it was easy for me to just push the reset button, which I did, but it just kept tripping off again. I called Darrel and told him that it still wasn't working. He said he would drop by the next day. He didn't show up at the time he said he would, but when I texted him, he finally showed up. When he got here he went back downstairs and came back up and told me that he didn't know what was wrong with it. I told him that I needed it fixed, so he finally called the water heater manufacturer and asked them what he should do. They told him to change out the elements, which he did and quickly left. When I checked for hot water in my kitchen, the faucet would dispense no water at all! I called him right away, and he said he would come out the following day. He never showed, which seems to be a recurring issue with him, based on the other reviews. This morning I attempted to take a shower and once again, had no hot water! Are you kidding me? Now I have no hot water and no water in my kitchen sink! I called Darrel to tell him the situation but he wouldn't answer his phone. I texted him to let him know what was going on and asked when we could expect to see him. His only reply was ""Not sure."" That was it ... no apology for not showing up the previous day, no apologies or explanations as to what the problem may be, just ""Not sure."" I told American Home Shield and they said they would send someone else out, but I don't know when it will happen. I'm just glad that Darrel is not coming back!!! I would say that he was just having a bad week, but reading the other reviews, I can see that this is his regular way of doing business. How disappointing.

Snappy plumbing was sent out to our home by our home warranty company ( American home shield). The first appt he was on time with no issues. When he was supposed to show up to our next appointment with the parts to fix the issues we're having is when we found out this guy is not reliable at all!!! We have had 2 no call no show scheduled appointments one of which I took a day off of work to be home for. He didnt even call to let us know he wasn't coming and never answered or returned any phone calls. At this point it's costing us more out of pocket between missing work and our service call fee than it would to fix the actual issue and unfortunately we still dont have our plumbing issues resolved. I would not recommend this company at all.

DO NOT USE THEM. Had an appointment scheduled for Monday at 11:30. He called at 12:15 and said he was on his way AND NEVER SHOWED UP. Called him again later in the day and left a message. We never heard back. Absolutely TERRIBLE-customer service.

Darrel serviced our water heater and fixed the water line on our refrigerator to ensure it was up to code. He was very polite, professional and patiently answered all of my questions. We just moved into our house and he was kind enough to look at some items for me and give me his feedback. Would definitely use again and recommend to others.

We have a home warranty through American Home Shield and have had to use Snappy twice now.

1st experience: Horrible service. He was good about answering his phone the first time I called. Set appointment to come take a look at my plumbing emergency. However, then he never shows up. I finally get him back on the phone a few DAYS later. Said his truck broke down. OK, I give him a second chance and set another appointment. He never shows. He then doesn't answer his phone when I call, despite calling multiple times. I never heard from him again. I'm not happy.

2nd experience: Water heater broke. I was disappointed that AHS was still using him. Called him right away to see if he would actually show. He actually showed this time (a miracle). I'm happy. However, after troubleshooting, he said that he'd be back the next day to replace the water heater. Surprise - he never shows.He doesn't answer when I call. I leave multiple messages. I never hear back from him. I'm not happy.

I would not recommend using Snappy if you want someone that will show up and get the job done.

Terrible, terrible service. I've tried to use them twice and their communication is very poor, the follow through non-existent. It's difficult to believe anyone can stay in business with service like this. It's just a repeat of what the other two negative reviews say below. No show, no call... nothing.

It's interesting that there can be such variation in services such as these differing reviews show.

I wish I could have gotten great service and written a good review. But that hasn't happened - TWICE.

Our kitchen faucet had zero water pressure. Darrell arrived on time to see what was causing the problem. He took the time to diagnose the problem and even went off to purchase a part necessary to fix the faucet. He was friendly, professional, and explained everything as he worked. I am very thankful for his help, and now the faucet works fine!
