HOME OWNER BEWARE HOME OWNER BEWARE! will never, ever use this company again. Not only am I extremely upset with my service, but also because I was over charged since the technician LIED about how long he was here.
I have not contacted the company, but I will be doing so tomorrow and will update. I DO, HOWEVER, NOT HAVE HIGH HOPES that my issue will be solved.
They didn't even show me the bill before they left so I could dispute the extra costs. This company is full of scam artists! HOMEOWNER/BEWARE HOMEOWNER BEWARE

Over a month ago we had Snake'n'Rooter come out and fix the clogged toilet in my 83 year old mother's bathroom. Their rep said we needed to ""increase the water flush capacity"" in her toilet, which he could do same day. I asked the specific question, ""Are you sure it has nothing to do with the DESIGN of this toilet?"" and he said, ""NO! Once we increase the flush capacity, you will be fine. You won't have this problem any more!"" $365 bill to my 83 year old mother. 4 days later, the toilet clogged again, we called Snake'N'Rooter again, they sent another rep out who said, ""you need to buy a high capacity toilet, the design of this toilet won't handle your mother's needs."" The high capacity toilet is about $350.00! I called Snake'n'Rooter to complain, they said they would get back to me...it has been over a month and no one has ever called us back and no refund check has ever been sent. Had I not specifically asked the question about the design of the toilet, I would not be so incensed! But since I DID specifically ask that question, and was told it was NOT THE DESIGN of the toilet by the first rep, we went ahead and paid to have the flush capacity increased. I will never use this company again and will NEVER recommend them to a friend, mostly because of the poor follow-up and response from management. They should have immediately called me or my Mom back and settled this. Extremely POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE as far as I am concerned. Taking advantage of an 83 year old woman is crooked business. AND these people are not part of the Better Business Bureau - why? Because they have an ""F"" RATING!!!!!!!!!! What's that tell ya??? Yeah, use this company AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!!!

Within 6 months of the warranty, 2 techs were over to work on my slow draining pipe 4 times!. It is only 4 ft. from the main drain pipe. I told both of them that hand cranking snake doesn't do the job! To summarize the whole thing, I will never use this company again.

This company is absolutely incompetent they said it technician to snake a drain out and he said that they could use the toilets the next morning when they woke up the basement was full of sewer water because he had not done the job properly and he did not stress test the drain after he opened it we found a massive route clog that block the drain even after he said he'd opened it which he did not cost $5000 worth of damage to the basement company not only charged us $350 for their work but refused to pay for the damages by the way they have a F minus rating at the Better Business Bureau

Snake n rooter was actually recommended to us by a neighbor. The first time they came it cost us nearly $200.00. This was more than expected because the service man seemed very slow and there was an add on for additional gas charge---which no one had mentioned. Talk about ethical. Then they came and did the video of the pipes which was free. The service man said the original guy hadn't even cleaned it out completely and their was a block further down the line which would take a longer snake to clean out. He said they would redo it for free. Lo and behold when they got here we were told their was an add on of $50.00 for the longer snake. Then he spent time off and on working on his equipment which was failing. Even had to go to Walmart for a part. He said he could only knock off the original l l/2 hours. Spent a total of five hours here. Said he had actually worked on it for l 1/2 hours . Finally agreed to a one hour charge which was another $205.00. Most of the time he was here I could hear no work going on at all. When he finally finished, he took 45 minutes to pack up and bring a bill back to me. I'm sure I was charged for this time as well. I will never call this company again. If you decide to do so, beware of surcharges and add ons. You have been warned. Beware. .

I have used Snake n rooter several years ago to snake my main line. It was a good experience. I called them again last November to do the same. They arrived quickly and finished quickly. They offered to come back and run a camera down the main to see if there are cracked pipes. This service was included with the service they did so I agreed. They came back on Friday 11/15/2013 ran a camera down the main and found a cracked pipe. They provided a repair estimate and then left. 2 days later I went to the basement to do laundry only to find that Mike the rep that was out on 2 days earlier did not properly reinstall the main cleanout cap. I had sewer water in two rooms in my basement. I called them and they sent a guy to reinstall the cap. he wiped up the mess and cut a large chunk of carpet padding. I had a small section of carpet that was completely ruined. After making 4 calls and leaving a message with the dispatcher lady Mike called me then came out to see the damage. We agreed that the company would pay me $200.00 for the damaged carpet. Mike said he will get a check sent out in a week. That was 3 months ago and still no check. I have reminded Mike 2 times since and he always has an excuse. My recommendation is that Snake n rooter is not an ethical company. Don't let them into your house.

I know it's unusual for me to get all excited about anything which isn't food. With that said, as far as I'm concerned, if you're needing any plumbing needs, you need not look any farther than Snake n Rooter.

I've had to call on Snake n Rooter for their services a few times over the past few years. The first time I used them was because I had a coupon, and I don't even remember what the coupon was for. I do remember, however, WHEN I called them. It was a Saturday afternoon and I had some unsavory business going on in my basement. Being that it was a Saturday afternoon, I was expecting to get raped (and not kissed!) with weekend rates, or I figured I'd have to put up with the unsavoryness (is that even a word??) until the following week.

Well, the first thing that impressed me about Snake n Rooter was the fact A REAL PERSON ANSWERED THE PHONE ON THE WEEKEND!! AND THERE WAS NO AUTOMATED, PRESS THIS BUTTON, SAY THIS THING NONSENSE!! It's been a love affair ever since. So, a real person answered the phone, she was extremely pleasant and let me know she could have someone out to my home the same day and, wait for it, WITHIN THE HOUR!!!

True to her word, a very polite and very clean gentleman showed up not long after I got off the phone. Not only did he take care of the basement issue, but he gave me a suggestion of what to do to prevent that situation from happening again. And for the coupe de grace, the charge was extremely reasonable AND there was no extra charge for the weekend appearance.

I was sold!

Most recently, I had to use their services again today, this time for a clogged tub. Once again, a very nice young lady answered the phone (on a Saturday!) and let me know she'd have someone out as soon as she could. After maybe an hour, the plumber was here and had the issue taken care of in about 20 minutes. And once again, the plumber provided some insight on what could be done to help prevent the issue in the future.

In short, not only is Snake n Rooter fast, reliable and reasonable, but they don't look to rip you off either. They will provide cost estimates over the phone, but remember, it's an ESTIMATE. to that end, the estimates, at least in my experience, have been pretty spot on.

I am definitely a fan and I would highly recommend Snake n Rooter for any plumbing emergencies.

I have been using Snake 'N Rooter for about 10 years. We have a tree in our front yard that loves to grow into our sewer line, and about every 18 months, we have to have the drain augered. They do everything they can to complete the job in a timely fashion, clean up the mess, and are very pleasant as well.

24 hour service, even on holidays at the same base rate. First time I called them was on Thanksgiving Day, and they had the drain cleaned in under an hour.

Great business - highly recommended!

Snake 'n' Rooter claims to offer senior discounts. When my 81 year old mother did not receive her discount the customer service representative, Linda, actually laughed and hung up on me when I called to inquire about my mother's discount. The took four and a half hours to install a kitchen faucet, remove a garbage disposal and ream a couple of drains. I think they cheated her by extending the time needed for the repair and not giving the discount advertised. Don't use this company because they will cheat you and have a good laugh about it.

After being charged 150 dollars buy a competitor company who said we had a break in the main between the house and the street and they could fix it for 2000.00 dallors I contacted snake in router, their employee named David came within 1 hr, ran the snake out fifty feet and cleared a tree root fixing our problem. Not only did he save us the money the other company was trying to screw us out of but also apologize for the conduct of the other company. Snake and rooter will always be the company I call in the future. they can be trusted and have professional employees.
