I'm updating my review after the company reached out to me and explained why they missed a scheduled appointment. They showed up right on time ( the second time) and did a thorough inspection of my sewer. I'd recommend them to anyone.

** Update - Mike and another technician came this morning. The line was mostly clear with some debris near the city side of the sewer line. They cleared it again. As for the backup in the house, they tell me now the p trap and lines from the tub are bad? Supposed to have someone fix it tomorrow and promised a discount. I'm VERY happy with Mike's response and approach to the issue. Let's see what happens tomorrow!
* Update. Owner read my review and Mike called. He promises to be here tomorrow morning to fix the sewer line.
Called a got a same day appointment between 12-1:00 pm. Showed up about 1:20. Said my sewer line needed the hydro-jet machine which would not be available until the next morning. I had already lost a days pay the previous day, so the next morning I left the workman with a check for the agreed upon rate. Tried calling repeatedly throughout the day and got a busy signal. Came home to find no receipt in my mailbox as requested and the drain still clogged. I've called several times this evening and both lines are still busy. Sent an e-mail. Placed a stop payment on the check. VERY unprofessional. Still can't use water as the sewer line is completely clogged.

Ok, I really can't say anything bad about a company that came over right away on a Sunday morning because I had a leak in my house. Water coming through my bedroom light fixtures and pouring in my closet! Thank goodness I knew where the main line was and shut it off right away. Andy came over within the hour! I couldn't find ANYONE to come at the last minute, not even my own plumber, who was in San Diego at the time. (I love him too :)) Andy quickly found the leak and turned off the toilet where it was coming from, giving me back access to my water!!! I thought we'd have to go stay at a hotel, but NOT! YAY!!!
Ady and Michael came back two days later, ready to repair the leak and the toilet. Thank you guys so much. Did I mention that they're really nice. Thank goodness for my girlfriend who referred me to them.

Like another reviewer, also got stood up. Left messages, no return calls. Was given a 5pm appt. Called after 5pm and left a message. Called again at 6pm, finally reached someone and was told they'd be by in about half an hour. Finally gave up waiting/calling/leaving messages at around 9:40pm.
Have had great experiences with them in the past, so really bummed that they majorly dropped the ball this time. When we called they had told us to ask our neighbors to forgo using their kitchen sink until they arrived, because our kitchen sink was clogged and the sinks share a line, but they never showed! So not only was our time wasted, but we put our neighbors through an annoying situation for nothing as well.

I can't say enough good things about Snake Masters. The only thing I can say is that I myself am a general contractor and I trust all my plumbing needs to these guys. Very responsible, reliable, professional, very reasonable prices. I've worked with a lot of plumbers before but I finally found the right guys with Snake Masters. Trust them, they will give you top quality work!

These guys stood me up three times in a row. Slackers. I have to find another plumbers because they could not show up when they said they would. UGH.
Update- 10/22/15 The owner of the company reached out to apologize for his employee's lack of professionalism. I appreciate when people take the time and try to make right for their mistakes.

We are selling our home and an inspector stated that our water heater was not up to code.....so I looked on Yelp and saw that this company got great reviews and gave a call. I was told someone would be here by 5pm. He was a bit late but no worries... he came in and was very nice and professional and apologized for being a little late. We told him the issue about the water heater and he went and looked at it and then advised us that it DOES meet code and there is nothing we need to have done to it!!!! He wrote up a receipt and mentioned that in the comments and charged us $25 for the visit and he was on his way. His name was Mike and we are very happy we called this company and they could have attempted to charge us money by saying we needed something that we didn't. I would definitely use them again in the future.

Thank you Mike and Andy for being reliable, punctual and fixing my issue quickly and neatly.

OK, so I am a General Contractor and a commercial asset manager-so I understand how things work. My main line stopped up tight (of course on a Saturday), shutting down my house. With a wife and two daughters in my dwelling, this is very bad-they like it better when the toilets and sinks work, go figure. I HAD three wonderful, trusted plumbers. One moved, one retired and, of course, my remaining plumber went on vacation until the middle of the month. Plumbing out of commission, daughters and wife giving me the fish-eye, my guy is out of town. Sweet. Lovin' life.
Enter Mike Diamond Plumbing. See my Mike Diamond Plumbing review. I called them without going to my trusty Yelp. I know, swat my bum, stupid mistake. In a nutshell, they failed to unblock my main, tried to overcharge me and then left me with doo-doo (yes, actual doo-doo) in my side yard next to the clean-out they should have, but refused to use (without charging me $520.00, a STUPID amount of money for the task). Now it is Saturday night; Mike Diamond Plumbing blew away my afternoon while I waited for their bait and switch hucksters disguised as plumbers to show, and then blow. My final words to the cheeky bastards were ""get the F off my property, thanks for nothing"". (Note: I did not say ""F"", and the F doesn't stand for frankfurter.) Net cost: $0 (If they had tried to charge me, blood would have been shed, and not mine either), irritation factor 100+. Off the scale bungholes.
Now it is a lovely Saturday night with a doo-doo brew in the side yard, The fish-eye glances have now progressed to full stink-eye.
YELP ME! I removed my brain from the jar on the nightstand, placed it back into my head and entered the appropriate search term into Yelp (I believe it was ""drain cleaning"" ).
SNAKE MASTERS PLUMBING AND DRAIN pops up. I call, and a guy huffing and puffing with the sound of clanking tools in the background answers. Friends, THIS is what you want to hear. You DO NOT want to hear ""I Have Carnal Knowledge of Your Dog plumbing! How may I help YOU?"" None of the good plumbers I have used have a chripy front office person. Usually a grumpy wife or over-worked office manager/receptionist. I spoke to Mike (NOT Diamond). By this time it was 7PM or so, and he said he would have a tough time getting to me that evening-but he would try. What I didn't realize was that he was in Pasadena, I am in Santa Monica. This is a fair schlep for a Saturday night. I figured the damage was already done & I didn't feeling like dealing with it any more that night-so we set up for the next morning (Sunday, not a great day to try to get a plumber out, normally). I also explained the problem and he quoted me what I thought was a totally reasonable price, especially being that the service call was on a Sunday.
MIke and Randy from SNAKE MASTERS showed up on time and got right to work. I have a cranky line and it took some doing to get the bugger flowing again, but they got it. It took them about an hour or so. LOVE THESE GUYS. Down to earth, honest, decent guys that showed up on time, knew what they were doing, and knew how to work. Terrific. Then he charged me LESS than what he quoted. Swoon.
Now I have another plumber. I am also referring him to my property managers. MD can bite the big weenie.
Campers, the lessons are as follows:
1. Remember to put your brain back in when you get up in the morning.
2. DO NOT call Mike Diamond Plumbing unless you are consumed with self-hatred.
3. Yelp is indeed a stalwart and trustworthy companion, use it.
4. Call SNAKE MASTERS PLUMBING AND DRAIN if you have a plumbing problem, they're great.
