I called SMT on a Sunday at the recommendation of a plumber I have hired several times over the years. I described a plugged sewer problem at my home. They offered to respond immediately however I scheduled them for the following morning. They gave a me a quote over the phone. They showed up right on time. The tech, I believe his name is Kevin, spent about 15 minutes diagnosing the issue and coming up with a plan to get the plug out. His plan was the right one, and it worked first try. He removed a toilet and set up a large sewer machine taking great pains to get the large and heavy machine into place without causing any damage. He also set up shields and barriers to contain the material. He ran the cutter all the way out to the main sewer in the alley removing at least two large blocks of tree roots and debris at 30' and at 60' into the line. He packed up - again taking care to avoid damage, reinstalled the toilet, and cleaned the entire area up. He gave me a choice of paying then or later and to opt to use check or card. I imagined this to become a very messy, long, and expensive experience. It was quite otherwise and I can confidently recommend this company, SMT Sewer and Drain in Denver; 303-761-5062.
