Terrible and unprofessional. Our garbage disposal stopped working so the warranty company assigned Smitty's to fix it. I finally get ahold of them on Monday to schedule a repair for Tuesday. He demands cash for the $45 service fee when I asked if I could write him a check. Fine. He then says he can come Tuesday between 9am and 11am and that he'd call when he was on his way.

Tuesday rolls around and I did not hear from him between that timeframe so I call him around 11:30am to see if he was still coming. He answers and rudely says that he will call me when he's on his way, and tell him the window has come and gone which is why I am checking in. Then he switches to ""the warranty company hasn't paid me in three months so I'm not coming!"" I am confused since: a) how would I even know this and, b) why did he even schedule my appointment, and c) why are you yelling at me? When I asked him these things he screams in the phone that he wants his effing money and he wants it now and then hangs up on me.

So unprofessional, avoid at all costs.

Smitty's Service was hired by our warranty company. I placed the claim on Thursday, and Smitty's tech showed up at 7:15pm Saturday. He diagnosed the problem and told us he needed authorization before doing the job. He told us the he will come out Sunday morning. Authorization was granted 9am, but no tech. The warranty company called Smitty and was told he does not work on Sunday. Their website speaks of integrity!!! No integrity when you answer a call knowing you can not perform the job. Limited use of water in our home with my 81 yr old dad.

They were hired to do a job and accept through our Home warranty company. Our appointment time time was Saturday between 7-11. I called days prior to confirm. On the day of, I called to get an ETA and he had left by 10 am explaining he was getting ready to leave and giving the explanation of traffic. Very unprofessional. He still wouldn't have made it to our home by the appoint time and rudely hung up on us. We live in King George, by leaving earlier would have alleviated this entire ordeal. Apparently our time is not valued by this company nor respected.

My water was out and this company took on a warranty job. I had to call out from work and a few minutes before I get a call that he cannot show. I said I had to call out of work for this and he stated I don't have time for this. Unprofessional and will cost you more money in the long wrong. Speaks to you like you owe him something.

DO NOT USE!!!!!!!!!!!
Leak in ceiling from upstairs bathroom. Smitty's Services was contacted by our home warranty to come. Owner was very unprofessional insulting my last name like it was funny to him. Had no tools from ladder or hole saw!!!!!! Didn't even check the upstairs bathroom before he started cutting a hole in my ceiling. Nothing was repaired and I was left with being insulated and now a hole in my ceiling. And he doesn't even own tools .......Horrible Horrible Horrible and racist!!!!

Honestly this was the worst plumbing experience I've ever had with a technician ""Laurence the owner"", the appointment was set for Saturday at 9:00am, the tech (Laurence the owner) never showed and didn't bother to let us know, at around 12pm he called and said we never confirmed with him even thought we spoke three times through out the week and confirmed the appointment time, he said he's able to come between 2-6 we agreed on that time, at 7 he reaches out and says he's not done with another job and he's not able to come, once again we let it go and made an appointment for Monday at 9am, the tech shows up at 11:30 with no tools and ask if he can start the job, I said ""yes boss"" the plumber Laurence proceeded to call me a racist for calling him boss and he said as a black man it's offensive to call black men boss, IM BLACK MYSELF, so I was confused, he than proceeded to shout that he's not doing the job and stormed out. I will not recommend this company to my worst enemy, if I can give 0 stars I would.

What an abomination of a service. My garbage disposal just broke and obviously needed some service. Tech comes without the proper pieces which I find odd given the nature of my issue. So now Iv gotta wait another day. Next day comes and the promised service was never delivered nor a call or a courtesy call for that matter. That's one way to do business in 2021 I guess.
